Time to eat the pets? 2:09pm on 15 Nov 2009 It gets back to too many people who have too many pets, SUV's, need for electricity from coal, meat, vacations, etc etc.

Just kill off a few million or stop breeding for a while and maybe we can get this under control. Maybe that's what H1N1 was supposed to do?

When hope is all that's left 5:27pm on 29 Oct 2009 One good quarter where there was (taxpayers i.e. my) money used for trading up an old car - yes sales went up but now the cash is no longer there have sales gone down again? I would ask the same question in the UK and Germany where this incentive may have artificially/temporarily increased sales but where you might expect sales to tank after.

I'd like to see 2 successive quarters or at least 12 months in the black before I start shouting too loud. Caterpillar just laid off how many people this week and unemployment is at how much? Is this just a banking bubble created by the same people on Wall Street responsible for the crash in the first place?

I am guessing either this is one big joke or the others in Europe think by putting a Brit in the top job might swing us around to being good Europeans? A prize deserved? 12:09pm on 10 Oct 2009 Winning it is one thing BUT he was nominated a few weeks (2?) into his presidency - one has to ask who nominated him and why? The Whitehouse say that were not aware that he was nominated so who did it - does that mean I can nominate someone as an individual?

F1 is more like a soap opera but seems to have lost the thread. At least Flav was right that people want to see racing and that is more and more rare as cars and tracks don't allow overtaking.
