Don't worry about the western face model about the paintballs, I guess it's just because those images are easier to find on the internet thus easier to be made as advertising images =p.
Update: Wo Weihan 02:34am on 30 Nov 2008 Hi James just a personal question I don't know how to ask you except post them here so feel free to delete them after the read.

1.FDA detect melamine in several US brand milk powder in the USA and they refused to announce the brand which got melamines detect, days later FDA says it's their 'mistake' and they said the amount of melamine is safe to eat in those brand products. I haven't see any reports related to this in BBC America and wonder if this is a bias on reporting guide line.

2. Last friday in USA(Again) people went to get cheaper goods in store and resulted in 1 people dead and several heavily injuried in walmart. Still no report seen on major media...If same thing happens in China it's a sure headline to highlight social unrest.

So here is my question, why the medias treat similar things in the US and China differently?

I agree with every word!!

Some time we do complain other countries live in 50-60ths but this case is a tragety to people both in mainland and taiwan due to the related law keeps in civial war era.

It's about time we work together with KMT government to end the pre-war statu of the taiwan straight.

I do feel sorry for Wu and his family, It's a mistake of our time. I hope there will be no more espanoge case between mainland and taiwan in the future.
Rare insight 1:30pm on 28 Nov 2008 OK, here is how I look at this:

Wu is charged as a spy and sell sensitive info. He also received money from abroad. (According to official info2).

If this case has touched the very sensitive area like military info which is very important to national security I can see why there isn't more info to explain to his daughter as why he's been charged especially her nationality is not Chinese anymore. Maybe all the officials’ feels safe to tell is Wu sell's some info related to leader's health and some minor info.

I am citizens who trust the authority on this kind of case especially the very top authority has been watching this case early on (EU and US politicians mentions Wu's case in various occasions during meetings with Chinese government officials). Prime Minister Wen Jiabao must know this case as well especially "A spokeswoman for the United States' embassy in Beijing condemned the execution.” today (Quoted from BBC).

You can call me red fanatic but what I am trying to say is I as a Chinese citizen do believe government thou there might be dirt here and there. I believe our prime minister. If there is anything needed to change my view I'd say is the "hard proof"--which normally missing in case accuse towards China like this.

mate, If you have the idea what you are talking about and have evidence and know exactly which factory is 'copying', with all respect you can hire a lawer and sue them and get a great deal of payment and you are protected by the law both from UK and PRC. Ask James about this if you still won't give exact evidence or just wana keep talking and blame ordinary Chinese people or simply flameing at China.

The money is in your pocket and the law is on your side. This is my last response to your comment. Even I am on your side towards those dishonest deal.

BTW there isn't such a Chinese law to make factory in China and copy British goods. Even James will find it funny that you thihnk there is a such law.
Obama's victory 07:13am on 05 Nov 2008 Great leap forward for the image of America in the world, a man can well possibly be a slave 150 years ago becomes president of the very country! This is a big event...

I do expect a great improvement for US-China relationship. People hope Obama will think the issue twice on the aspect of thers at least I hope so, not like the president currently in the white house and his former predecessor.
The reason American been hated by many is because its policy is too selfish. The world is now expecting Obama can bring the real change to US and makes it a USA willing to talk to solve problem but not by waving the stick in the hand.

Good luck Obama and good luck US-China relationship in the future!

Even If there are some items were 'sold' by locals(I believe there are)Beijing_2008 didn't say all of the Chinese items are snatched by british right? If they are sold by locals then let them stay. EASY.

About fake thing...hah those are illegal in China as well so if you want go blame the fake maker but not China. I bought a brush made in France from Argos the other day and it broke when I use it do I blame French people? of course not I blame the people who make it!

Comparing China and Cuba 11:03pm on 03 Nov 2008 3) Again China never think any country is their enemy. We are not some superpower searching for enemy on this planet and fight with 'hidden' enemies on foreign land.
Please don't use the word 'west' here because some of the thing did by hypocrisy governments is commit ed by all the western countries like Switzerland, Spain, etc and the list goes on. DON'T PUT THE WHOLE WORLD TO BACK YOU UP WHEN YOU DID SOMETHING WRONG. In my eyes it's like a gangster did something stupid and trying to fend people off by saying "If you touch me my clan will come after you blah blah blah"

I found many British people are very hospitable to visitors as well but that doesn't change my idea some of your foreign policy is out of date and not clean.

BTW I can't see the point you compare Fulgencio Batista with Dalai at all.

well I have to say the question you make is a bit pseudo in my eyes.

1) Communism or socialism is never a Chinese thing or Cuba thing. Communism/socialism origin in Germany to be precise..each country has its different situations and very different background why it adopt varies social format.

In China you say the mainland adopt communism because the government is ruled by communist party named 'Chinese communist party' but there is places adopt 'democracy' in Hongkong and Macao or maybe Taiwan in the near future. Who knows...
You of course won't say the democracy in Congo is real democracy because the full name of that country is 'DRC' --Democratic republic of Congo.
2) My point is those 'democracy', 'freedom', 'WMD' (yeah WMD lol) etc are just words used by politicians(mainly in 'some' hypocrisy countries). Will human kind send army to 'free' aliens in the future if we found they are still in slavery on Mars?

Every country will adopt the form of government best for its own(well thou some are better in theory but corruption exists in every form so far)
