Premier League quartet will advance 7:01pm on 29 Aug 2008 I Think People Should Stop Talking about past seasons for Liverpool Yes they have a good history in the champions league. better than chelseas man u's and arsenals.

But this is a new season and anything could happen, i'm a liverpool supporter and i would honestly really like to see another all Premier league final ( I didn't Say English Because there really aren't many english players in the 4 teams; Open to debate)

But I can Easly see all 4 teams progressing, and all at least getting to the last 16

My bets would be on chelsea to win it because of all there new signings payed by of course Mr Abramovic, and a Team like Inter Milan finishing 2nd.

All in all i think Arsenal will have a great start to it but stumble towards the end due to fitnes and a small squad
Man U to get knocked out by Inter
Liverpool Well Maybe they'll resign Riise and he'll score another own goal!

And Chelski to win well because of money!
Capello springs surprise with Terry choice 5:28pm on 19 Aug 2008 Gerrard Would of been better as he is a better role model for the team, and somebody who can motivate them better.

Liverpool Without Gerrard would be an average team., with him well you know what happens.

Liverpool may fall short in title tilt 3:17pm on 14 Aug 2008 I think that Benitez has done the right think In bringing in Robbie Keane, However. I Have To Say that the old formation Liverpool Used for the Second Half of the season worked(a very european formation) With the 2 holding midfeilder players. But Now That the teams have sussed out that. They know How To Break it down. I Think liverpool should opt for this the old 4-4-2 Diamond

That wouls Liverpool At this moment in time, As there will obviously won't be any funds for a new signing (Who ever that mat be)

I'd Also like to mention LFC youngters, And that Plessis and Nemeth Look Great For 2 new Forwards

And A Speciall note to David Ngog. I wouldn't be suprised to see him on the team sheet instead of Keane sometimes

So you see from that £18mill shouldn't be really spent on a left sided when liverpool already have Babel, beyanoun, (areulio) etc.. even leto.

Liverpool should Spend on the Right

Because Liverpool Need width which kuyt doesn't really give so Bentley or somebody would prefect .

Going Back to the Barry Signing.
Buying Barry would prossiblby mean alsono getting kicked ouuta the team with babel i'm sure prefered on the left hand side.
Now to make MY point:
REMEMBER LFC FANS LAST SEASON WHEN LIVERPOOL COULD ONLY REALLY DRAW GAMES THEY SHOOULD OF WON AND FOUND OURSELVES 6TH BEHIND CITY AND EVERTON. ALONSO WAS INJURED!!!
HEE CAME BACK THEN LIVERPOOL SUDDENLY GOT BETTER AND I WONDER WHY THAT WAS......ALONSO MABYE??

I think it was. He's one of the only players in the Prem that can actually pass the ball. Everyone must of seen him in the euros. ok he didn't start(only bescause senna is a better tackler than xabi) and liverpool have got one of them already with macherano. he played Amazing when he came on he passed the ball with ease.

So do we really need barry. when we could buy a really decent world class winger....
