Skipper Strauss seeks smoother blend 09:22am on 24 Dec 2009 Pietersen's average this year is just above Cooks and barely better than Swann so why isn't anyone calling for him to be dropped?
Yes he has Talent but he also has a habit of getting out to stupid ill-conceived shots instead of going on to a decent score. He has the talent of a Sewag or Tendulkar but doesnt get the results, lets make him work for it and actually earn his place by dropping him for the next test make him realise he has not got a guaranteed spot.
Short-changed by Olympic changes 09:22am on 15 Dec 2009 Seems to be all about money these days bringing in Football, Tennis and now Golf to get the TV deals and dropping the "minority" sports where athletes dedicate themselves to training to win a medal not to make loads of cash.
I'd rather watch cycling than watch a profesional golfers, tennis players, footballers do what we get to watch everyday

Heavy use of the command line to install drivers and programs?
are you stuck in the last century?
I haven't had to resort to command line for drivers for years and in fact I can't remember the last time I had to install a driver they're all installed already. As for programs it is no longer necessary to use the command line most distros these days come with massive repositories of apps all free and all installable via synaptic/yast and other gui's no command line necessary

I saw you on BBC Breakfast and in your intro to Windows7 you clearly said you dont use windows at home and prefer use an opensource OS but saying "thats a different story".

Now either you were lying then or you're lying in this article and pretending to be a Linux newcomer for effect so you have little need to be upset at the comments made

I reckon Vicky Pendleton should have won though. 2 medals in 2 completely different disciplines in 2 olympics, now thats effort.

As nice as young Vicky is to look at I think you mean Rebecca Romero.

As for Hamilton when he wins a world championship on a bike as well then maybe just maybe he'll deserve some respect
Conflict over copyright 11:11am on 27 Nov 2008 As has been mentioned the extension of copyright will ultimately only benefit the Record Companies.

IMHO Copyright should be reduced to 20 years Max and expire on the death of the holder.

"What?" I hear you cry well if you haven't made money on something in 20 years then the extra 50 years wont make much difference. If something is so valuable that it still makes money after 20 years then the decendents should be getting a nice sum without have to use the copyright , once more after the death it is the Industry that benefits most not the right holders
