How damaging is illegal file-sharing? 05:15am on 12 May 2009 Bands make less money from CD sales, so they tour more. This is great in my opinion. I've seen more bands locally recently. Data is so easy to copy, it really has little value. A live experience, on the other hand, will always have value.
Wikipedia is censored 10:21am on 08 Dec 2008 The image wouldn't be illegal or it wouldn't have been released as an album cover - it was withdrawn because the band decided it was a mistake.

I suspect the IWF simply has workers who visit a large number of sites and click "ok, ok, ok, not ok, ok ok ok etc." without really thinking that hard about the legal context of an image.

Personally I'm against the blocking of these images anyway because if they're blocked you can't see them, but they're still there. The sites should be shut down, not blocked to the majority.
