Measuring the global crunch 5:25pm on 29 Apr 2009 So I and my children will have to work harder and longer, to pay ever increasing taxes to give to the banks, so they can lend it back to us with interest to pay for falsely inflated house prices.
When we have a stroke at age 70, after 50 years of stressful working life, the government takes the house back off us to pay for a squalid carehome and minimum wage staff to start the cycle over again with the next generation of mugs.

Not quite the full sorry 3:27pm on 10 Feb 2009 They are like the generals from world war one, their ineptitude and mistakes cost the lives of millions of good servicemen, but after the war, the generals went back to their manor houses and ended their time in old age and comfort, whilst children grew up never knowing their fathers, widows living in poverty.
No sorry is not enough, I hope and prey they pay the price in the next life, KARMA.
How will the Chancellor repay debt? 6:48pm on 29 Oct 2008 I am just an ordinary family man with a wife, three children, a mortgage to pay and a job, yet I am sensible enough to know when times get hard you cannot borrow your way out of trouble.

Gordon Brown is acting like one of those mugs on the Carol Voorderman advert, "that nice man on the phone says we can pay off all our debt that we were so worried about and still have enough left over for a nice holiday"!

Economic growth is NOT sustainable year after year financially or ecologically, and at sometime, the debt will have to be settled.

We are living off our grandchildrens inheritance. A completely new approach to politics and economics are required and new forward thinking people put in charge.
Santander to B&B rescue 10:26pm on 28 Sep 2008 People knock David Icke, but to be fair to him, he appears to be a bit of a prophet.
He predicted all this in his books years ago.
We are headed down the road to one global World Bank where money is abolished and personal credit is on our ID cards and eventually our "implanted microchip"
