It's goodbye from him 7:30pm on 01 Oct 2009 No 6 - This illogical rant epitomizes the bizarre argument of the anti-devolutionist. No substantive points are made with regard to the Assembly just the ramblings of a salon bar politician.

With the most bizarre statement being - Our once beautiful city has been turned into a building site, So the legacy MR.

Anti devolutionist that building site is the biggest retail development Wales has ever seen! Note the like of which did not occur until devolution and the coming of a confident and vibrant Wales and Cardiff. It has and will create tens of thousands of jobs! If that's all you can throw at Rhodri I wouldn’t give up the day job.
Small feet, big shoes 8:11pm on 21 Sep 2009 58 and 59 - If you are so sure Wales is not a country why don't you go down to Cardiff for the next rugby International and demonstrate in favour of your cause? You always make out your in the majority. You shouldn't have a problem?

The reality is that everyone would see you as a group of right-wing extremist buffons and grandfathers would point to you and tell their grandsons - that's the lot we fought in the war. Before they watched their nation play.

Just because a gaggle of sporty types boot bladders of wind about, or do a bit of running and jumping for their 'country', makes not the slightest difference to reality; realism is what counts, not emotion, be it in a stadium, or anywhere else.
Small feet, big shoes 8:05pm on 20 Sep 2009 43. The idea that Wales - never has been a joined up nation, isolate, in the geo/political structure of the British Isles – is complete nonsense. Wales was separate from England until its conquest in the middle ages. A conquest clearly pre-supposes a separate identity from the conqueror. Under numerous rulers Wales was a united nation. But that Wales has been for most of its existence a divided country politically does not mean it is not a country. Under this bizarre outlook Italy and Germany would also not be considered countries. As the True Wales vision Statement says - Wales is a beautiful, diverse country which belongs to all who live here.

It says a lot for the supporters of True Wales that they do not belief Wales is a country and that our international sporting teams should be abolished and that Welsh speakers are basically vermin. What other truly extreme views are they hiding?

To say 10% speak the Welsh language is also nonsense.

No 39 – I am a Liberal Democrat who believes in a Parliament for Wales. Why are you banging on about Plaid Cymru? It appears you are obsessed with them.

No 41 'hatred of our brothers and sisters in the European Union' - I am talking about the vitriolic anti-European sentiment that is a hallmark of the nationalistic authoritarian right and left wing in this country. For example, Llew Smith, David Davies, etc

1. When I talk about True Wales I am talking about whether Wales should have a full legislative Parliament only the same as Scotland, Catalonia, California, Queensland, Newfoundland, the cantons of Sitzeralnd, etc – not as you wildly misconstrue about our country going on the slippery slope to separation from the United Kingdom, regardless of the disastrous social and economic consequences for the people of Wales.

2. You say that - True Wales would not be called 'True Wales' if it did not view Wales as a country. Well tell that to their supporters on this board they don’t seem to agree.

3. You say - True Wales believes that the needs of English and Welsh speakers should be respected – again tell that to their supporters on this board. It appears that True Wales don’t speak the truth about what they truly believe in

4. On the whole True Wales is a coalition of left wing old Labour die-hards and right wing Tories like rent-a-stupid-quote David Davies – united in their centralising British Nationalism and hatred of our brothers and sisters in the European Union.

You have said on earlier posts that you are a supporter of that weird extreme left and right wing coalition that is True Wales and also that you don’t believe Wales is a country. Added to these earlier statements on this board your rant at 31 states that we in Wales have to suffer Welsh daily, everywhere we go…. and that Welsh is being thrust into our lives by a bunch of rabid nutters who wish to take OUR homeland from us, by stealing the region away from the UK.

With these very extreme statements in mind please can you answer the following questions:

1. Is it True Wales’s policy that Wales is not and has never been a country?
2. If it is not their policy is it your belief that many of its supporters would like True Wales to refer to Wales as merely a region – like the Midlands, South west etc and never as a country? And therefore see anything that flows from country status – a national rugby and football team come to an end?
3. Is it True Wales’s belief that Welsh language speakers who would like to see a bilingual Wales or merely bilingual council bills are rabid nutters - vermin?

61 - The right wing of the 1930's were in Germany, are you suggesting the Unionists are akin to fascist Germans, are you thinking straight.

Firstly I did not say Unionists I said extremists – like you - on this board.

Secondly, please tell me were the British Union of Fascists German? Today’s BNP is clearly a political ancestor of the Nazi party and lets be honest if members of UKIP could get away with it they would be far more open in their hatreds and bigotry.

Sorry but the other paragraph of 61 I can't make head or tail of.

In the bizarre and crazed conspiracy theory riddled mind of the extremist there’s always an infection of the body politic that is undermining the mythical right thinking pure Briton - extrmists on this board rage against Welsh Language speakers, immigrants, Plaid Cymru voters, European Federalists, etc - and must be destroyed by any means necessary in order to purify the nation.
