Who's the greatest? 4:55pm on 06 Jul 2009 People are missing the point when the say Tiger has to play 120 people, Roger 7 to win a grand slam.

Big difference is that Tiger has four days and can afford a bad day, Roger could play one person who for 2 hours could play out of their skin and beat him. This is not the case in Golf as to sustain it for four rounds for someone else is harder.

A better judge would be Tiger's matchplay form, and looking at the Ryder Cup he doesn't go too well at that!

Roger has reached 21 consecutive semi finals, how many successive cuts has Tiger made in Majors? I don't know but would be interesting to find out.

Roger is slightly better in my view.

Valentino Rossi should not be included nor should any motor racing driver. These silly sports involve machines.

Man U are grabbing late wins in the way Liverpool did earlier in the season whilst Liverpool are drawing silly games as Man U did before.

It's too early to give title to Man U. They are not miles ahead in terms of quality, simply on form.

Also what odds Aston Villa? They will have no pressure on them whatsoever!

Wallabies devour undercooked England 4:31pm on 16 Nov 2008 It's good that Australia continue to win all these friendlies but when it counts, in the world cup, we'll knock them out again as we did in 2007, 2003 and 1995.

It must be so frustrating being Australian that all they can do is win these pointless Tests that most people don't care about onl to bottle it in the big matches.

This match and the daft Lions tour (who on earth gives a damn about Britain and Ireland teaming up??) are irrelevant.

Like it or lump it sport is about winning not competing. Let's not reintroduce the British love for losers.

What's your problem with people talking about Lara and Ponting?

RE: Test cricket. Ponting's average is better, his centuries per Tests is better, surely in time he will overtake Tendulkar.

What's wrong with stating the obvious?

What will Indian fans say when Ponting surpasses the Little Master with a superior average and superior century record? The very stats used to 'justify' Tendulkar as the best a few years ago will suddenly be irrelevant I bet.

Tendulkar is a great player but no better than Lara or Ponting.

Rugby League World Cup is equivalent to a Baseball world championship.

RL is a good game, and should be more popular but I think it sat still whilst Union shot past it in popularity.

Too many chip on shoulder northerners refusing to accept reality that the Union WC is infinitely more significant than the League one.

The first step on the road to change is accepting the current situation and the need for a change.

I find it rather odd that Chick criticises Scotland's home record when it is actually excellent in recent times (better than ours!).

Surely if you want to criticise Scottish football then comments around their ability to perform excellently (often resulting in wins) against strong teams, before a predictable collapse against lesser teams in the next game.

That is about as inevitable as my team losing on a penalty shoot out.

Disappointed in Europe, doubtless everyone will blame Faldo, Poulter and everyone else English, but there is more to it than that.

Is Harrington a team player? His record in Ryder Cup is shocking. Despite being a class act, he couldn't even get it going with Mcdowell.

Strange decision from Faldo not to play Oliver Wilson on Day One. It's not like the European team played so well in the morning that he didn't have options to drop.

If Harrington doesn't win this morning Faldo needs to drop him We can't carry this self centered idiot too much longer.
