Republicans' lack of leaders 04:51am on 26 Jun 2009 Over confidence and a poor strategy lost the election for Hillary.

Not to mention good old smoky backroom arm twisting, betrayal by pledged delegates and misconduct by Obama groupies in some primaries (especially Texas).

If the media had checkout out Obama like they're supposed to do he wouldn't have got the nod. His CV wouldn't get him an interview in the corporate world, it's full of holes but no one cared and now we're stuck with someone who has quadrupled the deficit in less than six months, is trying to pass a so-called environment bill that will hugely increase one's utility bills etc etc. Not to mention running around the world apologising to all and sundry.

We can't even think of the consequences of his getting a second term.

He wants to outlaw secret ballots about whether or not to unionise, in other words union activists will know how everyone voted.

Great for unions, not so great for the workers.

She consistently draws 15-20,000 enthusiastic people to her campaign rallies.
20,000 in Missouri earlier today, 15,000 in Indiana right now.

Of course they're not in the NE or California but in the heartlands, you know, "flyover country".

Ever seen him try and be spontaneous without one of those things ? Disaster !
A clever performance 06:49am on 29 Aug 2008 You'd think a convention crowning speech would be inspirational, uplifting, motivating and so on, however this wasn't.

His tone was lecturing even sounding angry a lot of the time.

He of course delivered to the faithful but, considering the convention's theme was about letting the public "get to know him", the arena setting and large stage props if anything only confirmed stories that he was becoming too full of himself.

NObama for this guy, sorry !

140+/- days in the senate and he's qualified to be CinC ? Sick joke.

Maybe his teleprompter isn't loaded with the right script yet - ever see him try to function without one ? It's not pretty.

The Democrats are yet again about to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Clinton's convention 07:17am on 17 Aug 2008 Obama's delegate lead is entirely due to the so called "super" delegates, who are allowed to change their minds.

It's not over yet, remember Hillary only "suspended" her campaign.
It's over... soon 03:46am on 04 Jun 2008 After all this it looks like the Dems will field the weaker candidate in November.

Hopefully they will once again snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
