Not being religious, I can't agree that the role of doctors may sometimes be to do everything they can to keep humans alive, so that they continue to suffer agony and degradation.

I see something different. I see a lot of people tearing this stupid plan apart, I see some people supporting the plan, and I see some thin-skinned SNP hacks who lack an argument and are whining that it's all so terribly unfair.

Well, the first thing I would do is have a principled stance on personal freedom. Just because some people don't behave themselves is no excuse for introducing a blunt-instrument insult to our liberty like this policy.

I bought alcohol from a offie when I was at University and never caused any trouble whatsoever.

Kenny sees problems caused by alcohol abuse, is too lazy or feart to tackle them directly, and so thinks it's fine and dandy to strip people of their rights. Pathetic.

When in house 1, they use services to house 1/council 1
When in house 2, they use services to house 2/council 2

(over all they will use more services but not twice as much).

BUT:

When owning two houses they better have a high income.

When having a high income they pay more income tax anyway.

People with children and the same income use much more services but get charged the same amount. (Ahah! you say, charge people with children more. Except I bet you dont say that - a bit inconsistent there)

Old people with less income might use more services but pay less. (Ahah! etc)

In these examples, you will see various people paying the amount related to their ability to pay rather than the services they use...

You are selectively pouncing on some instances of using more services, and not others, when the system is geared towards ability to pay, not service usage.
