Mr Naidu's favourite scheme 10:42am on 02 May 2009 Election results in Andhra will be an interesting find. It will give a glimpse of what the voters think of both the parties, their brand of policies and politics and of course performance; has the mood changed for example about 'urban centred development' or has Mr Naidu himself changed in the way he envisaged development? It will also be interesting to note how he has changed himself after the last set of election defeats. Will he do same things differently or will he do different things, have different priorities?

One thing is evident from your blog. He remains interesting in that he does not shy away from having a fresh look at how things can be done or delivered.
Putting India's election coverage in motion 5:21pm on 27 Apr 2009 Excellent idea altogether. People who know India will realise this is the best way to report a pan India election; add to it the cacophony of news media all trying to shout at their shrillest. When I first heard about it I regretted that I was not the one thinking about it! It's so obvious. But then probably BBC is best positioned to do something like this. My only regret is that it is not visible enough or there are not enough pictures or videos (certainly not here in UK).

My other slight concern has been: now that BBC funding has been steadily changing how will it maintain public perception that commercial considerations do not affect news presentation outside UK. There are loads of posts grumbling about wasted money but I think they believe BBC is wholly license fee paid even in India like in the UK which is not true. I will argue BBC viewers in UK are getting a better deal as they do not have to bear most of the costs and yet are getting the benefits free ( only license fee - a flat rate payment).
Beware a wounded Australia 9:47pm on 10 Nov 2008 Wow! Is it not too soon to get excited about, especially from an English perspective? India and Australia are ahead of the pack and are playing a different level of cricket. Perhaps only South Africa can challenge these two at the moment.

It should not matter to England, against either of these two teams they should get vanquished. I believe that's what we shall see in the coming two test matches.
