Britain: Putting the bite on the States 01:26am on 20 Nov 2009 I am surprised that the Right-wing loonies allow Vampire Films to be shown in the US. Maybe they haven't caught the underlying theme of sex and homoeroticism in the films. Dracuala bites both males and females and both sexes call him Master. What is he the master of, if not sex.

I don't think the Right-wing holy rollers have figured that out yet. But like all hypocrite they believe in do what I say, not what I do or am doing to or with someone else.

'Senseless tragedy'? 01:20am on 07 Nov 2009 The US military has been under too much pressure. Only 1% of the population defends the rest. The US spends very little money on mental health. The VA prefers to ignore it. It seems the shooter was schaphrenic and had been showing symtoms for some time. But like those who criticize frivalous law suits of medical practicianers, his behavior was swept under the rug by the Vetrans' Administration. Instead they want to put the doctor on point so that he would have probably have been killed in Iraq. This is a treatment left over from Vietnam.

Being a Muslim around a bunch of smart mouthed Christian youth who think their mission is to bring Christ to the heathen at the business end of an AK47 must be hell. Racism and prejusdice as part of military training is par. In Vietnam it was gooks. In Desert Storm, it was Desert N---ers. Now it is Rag Heads and cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad. We civilians are told that the peoples in the Middle East are heathens and extremist, yet Bush let the Neocons: American Zionist bring into war so that eventually Christ would walk in Jersalem, kill the Jews and allow the Christians to take over. It was more the tale that Hitler told of his 1000 Year Reich than a man who went to Princeton tell his American peoples, yet some believed and all the military followed.

It makes you wonder who the insane person or people are in the senario of Fort Hood. US for allowing our young men and military professional to be mistreated or allowing them to mistreat each other.

Peace is elusive, but I wish we would hunt for it like we look for the financial recovery. Like the song goes: Soon as my feet touch Zion.....
Obama rising above the sea? 00:22am on 05 Nov 2009 Everyone is taking the fact that 2 governorships went to the Republicans. Even the Republicans see this as a step back into Neoconservatism. New Jersey and Virginia are two states that are always in flux. The politics in those states "is always local." New Jersey is Philadelphia in the South and Mofia in the North. It has high taxes and Carzone was not the best governor. Virginia has an inferior complex being so close to DC.

The most important race was in Upstate New York. The Far Right tried to take over and regain territory. They were so extreme until the moderate Republican supported the Democrat. This should be of interest instead of the Elephant farts of the Republicans trupeting its hot air.

America is becoming what it is meant to be. It is not socialist. It is a social compact which the original founders meant it to be. We strayed with Bush and the the American Zionist, i.e. Neocons, because both saw a vision of America that was too cruel for the rest of US.
Republican revival in Virginia? 00:16am on 04 Nov 2009 The only thing wrong with those people in Virginia is that they Republicans have managed to get to them. The Republicans claim to be for business and low taxes, yet they do not undestand that Capitalism requires capital and a healthy work force.

The Virginians don't seem to understand that those who are for low taxes are also for low wages. Republicans talk a good game about jobs leaving America to go overseas. I have never seen a job walk away under its own power. It is usually the people that these Neoconservatives front for, the Lobbies and so forth, that take their jobs overseas because they cannot find any slave labor outside of illegal immigrants, to work for below the minimum wage.

These Chicken Hawks are what Hannah Arendt would call Desk Bound Murderers who want to sent the children of the poor overseas on some so-called patriotic mission to exploit and kill the other sons and daughters of the poor so that their wealth will not be disturbed.

Or this Nazicons, calling themselves Neocons have nationalistic ambitions. They have long eyes seeking out land and influence for themselves wanting to expand the American Empire so the the US can outbully any other bully nation on the block. They want to serve two masters but prove unfaithful to any one nation but themselves.

I hope this is a wake-up call for Virgina. But I doubt it. It sees itself as the Savior of the nation, not the dupe of the Republicans.
Wake-up call for world peace 11:24pm on 10 Oct 2009 There is a giant difference between Appeasement and Respect. Iran, North Korea, Syria and all other nations deserve respect. It is when the West loses respect for the feeling of peoples in other nations that wars break out. But it seems that if you do not own a WMD, you get no respect from the West.

When you say Appeasement, you are mouthing the words of the Neocons that draged the US out of Afghanistan, when we had the possiblity of winning, so that we could Invade Iraq to keep Israel safe and take possion of the oil. If Saddam were still in place, we could find all the terrorist because he would have the Iraqis under control.

What is keeping the world violent today is the excuse of Israel desire to have all of Palestine. This is the truth, not some made up Anti-Semitism. But any criticism of Israel is Anti-Semitic. But what and how will the rest of the world find peace if there is no peace in the Middle East.

Israel living under the rules of Apratheid South Africa cannot work when weapons are so pleantiful and there are still lose nukes out there. Killy all the Iranians won't make the Arabs not want their own bombs against what they consider a interloper, but making all the peoples of the Middle East see they have more to gain than to lose by being friendly with Israel is not Appeasement on any level.

We live on HOPE and illusion. But I prefer Real Politik.
A prize deserved? 01:31am on 10 Oct 2009 The Nobel Committee want to deliver a message to George W. Bush that was not sutble. They and the rest of Europe and anyone else sane in the world was glad to see the back of him. So they gave the Nobel Prize for Peace to Barack Obama.

Then too the would is still feeling the wounds of the Crash and is still wondering what got US and Them into their unsteady situation we find ourselves into today. And Obama, the man, offers the Balm of Giliad that sooths the sinsick soul. He is Soul Man Number One at this time giving HOPE to the hopeless and voice to those who want peace and healing.

Then too the Nobel Peace Prize is like a Mofia Offer: And Offer Obama cannot refuse. Perhaps Don Corlioni was at the table givine Godfatherly orders. Who knows. But whatever, the Neocons and the Neoconservative in the US cannot sleep tonight or for nights to come because hate and envy is eating up what some would mistake for their hearts.

Those wondering Why Obama... He just got there. Well he has been in Office 9 months and save the world from financial desaster; put the first Hispanic judge on the Supreme Court bench; talk to all the so-called enemies of world peace; making slow but sure arragement to close GITMO; make Equal Pay for Equal Work with the Ledbetter Bill; taken religion of the public menue; made the world like the US again.

I hear the Right and the Blue Dogs say, Obama is not the king of the world, but they are the same voices that say the US is the Leader of the Free World. Is there a charge for being in the world now that Bush is gone?

Yes Obama deserves the Nobel Prize just for being in Black and in Politics because every Black man that has stood up has been cut down by an assins bullet. He deserves the prize for bravery alone. Inseatd of knocking him, PRAY FOR HIM.

Hope remains the world WMD and let's keep it alive.
Time to say goodbye 11:54pm on 05 Sep 2009 As soon as I get some more Obama bucks, I think I will join you in the UK. Things are getting dull here as I wait for the Neoconservatives to implode when the Public Option passes hand down.

While you are down there in South Carolina, Mr. Webb visit some of the Traditional Black Churches. You will leave feeling your soul refreshed. Note how the Michael Jackson Memorial refreshed people of all races because it was in the mode of the traditions Black Church ceremony.

All the time you spent in the United States hasn't seem to change your prejudices. You say you will miss the place, but what did you see of the heart of the country. You remind me of White people who live in the suburbs and are afaid to visit the big cities. They are like ostriches hiding their heads in the sand. They miss the American culture, then go abroad tell others that they SHOULD BE LIKE AND LIVE LIKE US hiding form our multicultured neighbors. White World can be lonely.

I would not wish Sarah Palin in office if I were you. Didn't you get enough of Bushism for a life time. And if you miss Karl Rove, you have pleanty of Neonazis and Right Wing Parties in Britain and the rest of Europe. Remember the main event which brought Hitler and the Nazis to power was the American Great Depression. And Harry Bruiunus in Better for All the World: The Secret History of Forced Sterilization and American's Quest for Racial Purity (2006) will make interesting reading on the plane back to the UK.

America is a complicated place. It thinks it is Exceptional, and this makes it dangerous to itself and to its neighbors because of it hubris. But we can always find friends who are just as bad.
Replacing Obama in the Senate 8:22pm on 13 Jul 2009 After 8 years of Republican respectibility, I want to see the back of every last one of those cadeveras. Republicans along with Blue Dog Democrats don't want to see change. They want the same old cercumstance which got US and the world into this financial mess.

Read William D. Cohan's House of Cards: A Tale of Hubris and Wretched Excess on Wall Street (2009), and you will see what the Republicans are trying to protect. You would think the Europeans would tire of US for getting them into this Second Great Depression, instead of recommending that we Play it Again with more Republicans in charge.

The Dem that took Obama's place just wanted a last harrah. What's wrong with that. Having him in there for such a short time will not mean yeah or nay, just an interlude. But having a Republican in that seat will mean no progress and a return to the bad ole days.
