European game puts South America in shade 10:42am on 23 Sep 2008 As a Fan I can see the even the best leagues in the world are having enough of foreign investment and less of home grown players. The actuall panorama its a disgrace and does not benifith any one, England the major exporters already had enough, imagine the Brazilian, Argentinian, Portuguese, Dutch and French league. FIFA should imposed rules to counter the effects of the Bosman Law, or we are going to have a 'Footbal Crush' - Many cames handy but passion and love for your own country are even more important

Your suggestions are really good, but I also have a problem with young player (domestic) leaving from a small club (e.g. Leeds) and end up in the unknown world of Chelsea at the age they should be shining, and at times with promises that they parents will get a gardening job.

England is at the moment the helm of European football and there is discontentment with this law, now Imagine what is going on In Argentina, Brazil, Holland, Portugal, where none of the big young promises stay there until they come out of age.

My suggestion is more radical and global:
FIFA should impose a rule that player that do not A - reaming at their clubs or B - in their countries until the Olympic age i.e. 23, will not represent their countries in the World Cup

I think 5 years is enough for both Ronaldo and MU, they are both winners, if he stays they both will Lose, its simple as this. I know Ferguson thought he found his golden pot, to explore and help him wining more Champins leagues, but life is not always what we wish. Mourinho when won in Porto in 3 years that he stayed there he thought it would be easy at Chelsea with the money and player. but as I said life is not always what we want, we need to consider that we not leave in this world alone and in close doors
