Wow! This actually moved me to tears, Luz Long what a guy!
Can Burnley survive in the Premier League? 11:53am on 13 Aug 2009 I also think it's highly commendable how he is looking after the clubs long term future.

I can see the likes of Hull who are in my opinion overextending themselves with transfers and wages going the Bradford/Swindon route when their premiership stay almost inevitably comes to an end, the way Burnley are opperating makes much more long term sense.
Can Burnley survive in the Premier League? 11:31am on 13 Aug 2009 Everytime I read anything about Owen Coyle I am more and more impressed by the man.

Turning down the Celtic job - the club he has supported since boyhood - just goes to show the sort of man he is, too few of his sort are left.

I bet the taking the Celtic job would have allowed him to double or maybe even triple his current wage too, what a guy!!!

Burnley will certainly be my 2nd team this season, I hope they do well.

Europa League has its merits 11:54am on 21 May 2009 The Europa League will become a joke league and everyone will call it the Micky Mouse league, however just like the Carling Cup if your own team gets to the semi-final stage suddenly you'll find yourself telling anyone that'll listen how big it is.

Of course they won't believe a word... Not till there own team gets to the same stage of course!
Blatter blunders while Wada walks the beat 11:27am on 13 May 2009 When will Blatter and the like realise their job is to make sport better and fairer for fans.

Blatter and his cronies spend all their time pandering to overpaid, spoilt footballers and looking after big clubs at the expense of clubs further down the pyramid (without whom football will colapse).

As if his frankly ridiculous views and opinions on other subjects were not bad enough, now he threatens to take Football down the route of american sports where pumped up steroid abbusers devalue te history of the sports they play by breaking long held records not by skill but by cheating.

Millwall strike first but Leeds remain upbeat 1:50pm on 11 May 2009 I can see a few Leeds fans with egg on their faces come the replay if Leeds lose (In the words of their own Kaiser Chiefs "I predict a riot").

It's one thing to critisise others when your own team as an unblemished record but Leeds have one of the biggest records of thuggery going.

And before you start Leeds fans this from a Spurs fan (Who dislikes Milwall as much as the next man) and whose Dad is a Leeds fan (Not one of the thugs thankfully).
