Benitez must blank out Ferguson 8:38pm on 18 May 2009 Raffa didnt say congrats..Boo hoo! SAF is the worst type of bloke going. a bully, a arrogant smugchops who tries to look magnanimous when it suits him. Note that when united Lose he send s someone else out to speak for him. Remember United getting whipped at OT? Fergie had the cheek to say the better team lost. PAH! To all the complainers Benitez has pulled a master stroke, because its him and Liverpool grabbing the headlines whilst United's rather "Dull" title triumph has been totally overshadowed. Fantastic!!! COME ON BARCA!!
Liverpool on road to glory 3:37pm on 11 May 2009 I'd like to just say what a Brilliant season it has been. It's not over till the fat Lady sings but it does look like UTDs title. If that's the case then as a Liverpool fan who is no friend to UTD I still have to say well done. Great display really because in the 1st half of the season you looked dead and buried.

As fans i think we all need to grow up a bit sometimes and stop acting like kids in the playground. If anyone thinks the BBc is biased toward Liverpool, can I point you to SKY's total love for UTD. the 1-4 game didnt even make sky's game of the day.

It's all swings and roundabouts. I honestly don't care about how much Raffa has spent. UTD have been streets ahead of us for years, and I wasn't until Raffa arrived that we started to build something like a proper team. No diss to GH though, who did what he could with what he had.

We are now seriously improved, and I think we need to spend again..2 top class players who will play for the squad, over themselves.

If UTD do win the league this time, I don't like it but don't begrudge them it , they have done what was necessary. we fell short. It will take the pressure off LFS, bearing the record for so long leads to false expectations. Just remember, Fergie cant go on forever, and football has a funny way of rotating its champions. Unless you are Blackburn who slipped off the turntabe
The truth about sex education 10:03am on 20 Oct 2008 It is also important to consider the sexualisation of children. Look at the way children are dressed in adverts and popular TV shows. The girls wear practically next to nothing. Britney spears and Jordan et al are held up as role models yet they think nothing of sexualising themselves as a trademark. they make sex videos of themselves and leak them on the net, they go out without underwear, just to get photographed and we as a public, lap it up.

By accepting this we send the message to young girls that this is normal behavior for girls. And are boys meant to simply ignore all this titillation? No wonder ew have high teenage pregnancy
Sex education - your comments 09:46am on 20 Oct 2008 Thank god a few people are finally talking abut STI/STDs The program started with people simply talking about sex.

young men are the main worry and need to be targeted better. They are so driven by hormones at that age that even if they don't have a condom they will apply pressure for sex.

Emotions are not a major factor in sexual exploration for youngsters, nor do they fully understand the emotions they do feel.

Twitter at the tipping point 3:03pm on 21 Apr 2008 I am a techie type working in education. I'm trying everything new to see what works. I have just embedded my work tweets onto our blog.

I'm trying to make teachers more aware of web 2.0 which most of just aren't interested in.

Twitter, has a potential for simply delivering instant updates, which can be useful, its simply a case of being able to sort the Wheat from the Chaff. Or users actually posing useful Tweets and not stuff like, " stroking the cat".
