Relief all round as Silverstone secures British GP 6:06pm on 07 Dec 2009 Having experienced Silverstone on 4 occasions (twice in general admission and twice in a grandstand) I, personally, and very pleased the circuit has been saved.
True, it's not the most modern place to be, but then it has character in abundance, and sometimes, it's not the glitz and glamour, but the pure, raw, motor-racing.
Well done to all involved for saving the British Grand Prix. Finger-crossed, I'll be there to support it next year.
BBC F1 film wins prestigious award 9:06pm on 25 Nov 2009 Very well deserved. Fantastic way to start the season.
Great way to round off a season of terrific coverage.

Pic of the day: iPlayer on the Wii 06:26am on 19 Nov 2009 Installed it last night, and was very impressed with the usability, and, more importantly, the picture quality. Considering this is over a wireless connection, the picture and sound were in sync and there were no buffering issues.

However, it was 11pm.
How will it be during the day, when there is more contention on the line? Time will tell.

Thanks BBC, for once again innovating, and bringing iPlayer to a bigger audience.

An earpiece of the action 06:58am on 22 Jul 2009 Wow! Have only just managed to listen to the feed you have during the programme. I have only admiration for anyone who can deal with that cacophony of sound and instruction whilst listening to interviews and asking questions.
I should also like to comment on the production teams professionalism in making decisions 'on the fly' and the countdown at the end, whilst an everyday occurence for you, was just magical to see and hear in action.
Thanks to everyone at the BBC for what has been a fantastic season so far; long may it continue.

Martin Brundle on form, but DC just added
(a) more in-depth, knowing, questions and
(b) more comedy factor...
Please include him on all future grid walks.
Also good to see Mike Gascoygne in the trio - offers good insights to strategies and technical detail.
Good to notice there were periods of 'silence' during the commentary, as the pictures did the talking. Has JL finally caught on that this is TV and he doesn't need to speak ALL the time?

Filling for Britain at storm time 3:12pm on 06 Apr 2009 All I can say is Formula 1 is back home.

The BBC doing what it does best. Sports broadcasting at its best.

The whole event was brilliantly put together, and whilst I admit to being concerned how you'd cover the rain break, it was genius setting up in the BrawnGP garage.

Hamilton makes a swift getaway at Sepang 4:51pm on 02 Apr 2009 I find it hard to believe that Lewis actually 'lied'. That's such a strong word.
Surely in all investigations, it is the job of the authorities; whoever they may be, to ask the questions and delve and probe to get to the answers.
It seems the stewards failed, at this time, to ask the right questions, and Lewis answered what he was asked.
In any case, why they couldn't just revert the race results back to how they were before all this started is beyond me.
McLaren being penalised - again.
At least it's only race 1 - there's plenty of time to make up the points and the positions.
Introducing the new mobile homepage beta 3:17pm on 01 Apr 2009 I like the new beta page - looks good, and fits in with the overall BBC branding. Nice one.

Just one small thing(!) Whenever I make a customisation to the page, it doesn't seem to retain the settings when I close the browser. Not a huge problem in itself, but sort of defeats the object of customisation.

Using a Nokia N95 8GB by the way - Not an iPhone! The speed I get is more than adequate - refreshes nice and quickly.
