Michael Jackson coverage 8:01pm on 29 Jun 2009 I accept that Michael Jackson was a prominent figure in the pop world and merits coverage on the main BBC News but is it necessary to have a team standing by at the house reporting on the speculative minutia of unfolding events. Cannot the BBC sub contract the work to local journalists and report only valid stories. We do not wish to get involved with what is appearing to be the start of a long domestic feud within the Jackson circle.
A question of when, not if 7:26pm on 18 May 2009 What a mumbled, incoherent, insincere apology that turned out to be. I couldn't understand what he said and had to go to the BBC Homepage for a translation. The delaying tactics have started and the boys are off on another half term break this week. Parliament must get its' act together. Propose a motion of no confidence and hold a secret ballot to dismiss the Speaker, without the usual reward for failure.
Speaker's anger 8:25pm on 11 May 2009 I watched The Speaker's comments on the news. Was he drunk, ill or is there some other reason for his rambling?
Honourable no more? 7:48pm on 11 May 2009 If Members of Parliament were honorable they would resign and allow the electorate to judge them.
They are all suggesting that they have acted within the rules or they have made a mistake, but many are clearly acting in a fraudulent manner, so why is no one in authority seeking to prosecute these people?
We have a right to demand it. If it doesn't happen some people may well take the law into their own hands.
Obama - what they said/mean 12:20pm on 05 Nov 2008 With saturation coverage of events in the USA it's a good day for burying bad news. Any idea what our great leaders have quietly filed away today?
