Capello can plot World Cup glory 08:11am on 10 Sep 2009 I think we played really well last night. As for the final squad i think David Beckham must be on the plane. He will deflect the publicity from all the other guys and his experience is needed in the squad as you can tell the younger guys still look up to him and pass to him on every occasion they can when he comes on.

As for the starting line up. I think Carlton Cole to start in place of Heskey as he is just as much of a nuisance but better on the ball and more clinical in front of goal.

I play sunday morning football and last weekend we turned up for an away match at a sports centre paid £2.40 per car to park, paid to use the facilities and referee. Following a delayed kick off we returned to our cars to find parking tickets as we had gone 10 minutes over the allocated time. How is this going to attract people to leisure centres!?! to rub salt into the wound the car park was not even 1/4 full.

How come when ever large amounts of money are spent the average person never reeps the reward!?

Your talking about Evertons 'help and faith nurturing Rooney through to where he is today' as though they are the only club to have developed a young talent!

Dont forget they recevied £27 million for their troubles!

This is a very good point you have touched on. It would be interesting to get different fans views on why they boo players when they return to a previous club. I cant understand why fans would boo a player who has left in order to further their career or a squad player who leaves for first team football. It seems every player to transfers clubs gets booed on their return! (excluding Tevez who got a great reception back at upton park)

I get bored of reading the same old garbage about the same old issues that anyone with half an ounce of knowledge of football could write about.

As the chief fooball writer for the BBC are you a little embarrased your views and predictions are so wrong? Does your work not get monitored and reviewed?

It must be a journalist thing where you are unable to remember what you have written previously and quickly brush it under the carpet once it has been proved irrelevent.
