Old Firm departure would be ruinous 12:49pm on 21 Apr 2009 I can't believe the attention this gets time and time again. It's never going to happen. It's totally impractical- what happens if either club were relegated? Where do they go? They aren't an english club so the championship is out and since there is no promotion from the SPL to the EPL2 they can't go back there either. What if they qualify for europe in the future? Who's allocation do they take up? Scotland or England? Never gonna happen.
Batman, Robben and Scotland 09:02am on 24 Mar 2009 I could be wrong but as Scotland are in the 'wee group' with only 5 teams it means that we play 2 games less than the teams in the other groups. So when it comes to deciding who qualifies for a play offs the second place teams in the other groups do not count their results against the bottom team in their respective group. So in short we can't be the worst of the second place teams because 1- we dont know who has finished bottom of each group yet and 2- even with the groups as they are at present time we would be level on 4 points with several teams.
Warren gambling big with Khan 3:58pm on 13 Mar 2009 I think one thing we should all be able to agree on is that if Barrera and Khan were both at their peak the fight wouldn't last past the first round. Khan needs a way back into the limelight and Barrera needs a couple of paydays. That's all this fight is- PPV for this is truly a joke.

Although Barrera may well be over the hill he still has it in him to beat Khan. I think if Barrera wins it will be a KO. The only way Khan will win is if it goes the distance and he nicks it on points.
Expect excitement over quality in Old Firm final 09:14am on 10 Mar 2009 I can see this one heading into extra time. Bit of a shame that the article spends more time talking about the league championship than the cup final. But what do i know.

Baffled by tactics and Boyd's omission 12:53pm on 14 Oct 2008 The reason we have a manager in the first place is to make these types of decisions. 99 times out of 100 Iwelumo taps that chance in and Scotland win the game. Or in other words the manager changes the game with his subsitution.
