Election Presenter Optional 6:28pm on 07 Jun 2009 An extremely useful method indeed. Using it I have managed to explain to a person attending the Welsh regional count which UK parties are part of which EU grouping. Quite how you translate that into a purely UK graphic for the general election is a mystery though.
Touching a nerve 5:44pm on 19 May 2009 When I was last in Carmarthen I made a point to ask the people in the Labour and Plaid Cymru offices to let me know when a hustings meeting for the European Elections in either Ceredigion or Carmarthenshire. Did I recieve a notice about this meeting? I DID NOT! I will not be voting for either the Labour or Plaid Cymru candidates as a result of this (and based on the information so far recieved I am seriously considering the idea of lending my vote to either the Greens or the Jury Team)

Help us pick our 10 to watch 11:35pm on 08 Jul 2008 Given that the BBC is impartial (as per its editoral code) might I make the following suggestion:

Every day focus on a randomly chosen athlete that comes from one of three groups of countries: Olympians (countries who are also certain to get a medal), Wannabes (countries who might just get a medal) and the Tryers (countries where no medal is expected).

New News 09:51am on 21 Apr 2008 I got up this morning to watch the new graphics for the BBC News Channel and have to say they look very impressive indeed (can't wait to see what you do for the locals with them).

However, I do have to express a slight concern for the new graphics for the BBC Wales news programmes. The example that you have included shows red along Cardigan Bay and green in Monmouthshire. I feel I should say that you should pause the launch of these graphics as Wales until the second week of May, as Wales is in the midst of a local election campaign and it might reflect badly on the BBC if it could be precieved that they were backing Labour candidates in Gwynedd, Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire and Plaid Cymru candidates in Monmouthshire.
