Ferdinand must sharpen up 08:55am on 11 Oct 2009 I think you would see a huge improvement from Rio and other defenders if England could put a world class keeper between the sticks. Currently, they don't have one.
Ill timed challenges horrific ball handling and dithering over crosses when the pressure is on would not inspire me with much confidence.
Giggs is Manchester United's shining knight 3:49pm on 27 Sep 2009 1.5 exceptional games and he's already Player of the Year again.

If you saw nothing at all wrong with his behaviour then that is why you support him and I don't. Screaming, ranting and raving is all good, eh ?

There are many very apparent reasons. His on court behaviour has been abysmal in the past. Wimbledon 2008 against Gasquet. The Olympics 2008 among others. Admittedly these were in the past and 2009 saw a much better Murray in ALL departments.
Fair play to him if he's sorted this stuff out but as someone else posted here, mud sticks and he'll just have to live with it.

What I mean is, us, the great un-washed viewing public, are perfectly within our rights to like or dislike any one for whatever reason we see fit. It's exactly the same for all sportsmen/women and other celebs.
Murray fanatics assume that just because he (Murray) is undoubtedly a great tennis player, we all should just fall at his feet in worship. Urhh, no, it doesn't work like that.
Think McEnroe, Nastase and others. Sure they were some that liked them and everyone admired their talents but a LOT of people disliked them solely for their on-screen persona.
The Watson Open 1:33pm on 20 Jul 2009 I, too, was cheering for Tom Watson and was gutted for him on the 18th..If only his ball had stopped on the putting surface...oh well :)
But it did occur to me how utterly boring this Open would have been if not for the Tom Watson factor.
Very poor golf from the so called greats of today. It took a master from the past to school the all.
Well done to Stuart Cink, he seems a nice guy and I would bet even he was cheering for Tom at some point.
Bitter recriminations at the Bridge 07:50am on 07 May 2009 Chelsea, like so many other teams, need to look a bit closer to home for their lack of progress. Yes, decisions in the game were wrong but that happens in nearly every game. Look at Ronaldo's blatant dive that won the free kick he scored from in the other semi . The sending off in that game and the Barcelona sending off.
It's not conspiracy. It's football.
Man Utd look unstoppable 1:24pm on 05 Mar 2009 Man Utd will obviously win the title , yet again, but the other top 3 have handed it to them on a plate. Especially Liverpool this year. It was theirs for the taking and a combination of pathetic management skills by Benitez and Gerrard's overly physical celebrations after the Newcastle thrashing have contrived to throw away their best chance in ages to win the Prem.
United have not exactly set the football field alight with their stunning performances of late.

Beach volleyball, Taekwondo, Fencing and all the equestrian events should have the plug pulled on funding.
A gold medal in 10m air pistol is a worthless joke.

Give the money to real athletes.
