"You lot have got snow, I've got 40 bloody degrees C. It is feral. Half of bloody Adelaide is on fire and people are congregating on the beach to avoid becoming their own Christmas BBQ.

It never used to get this hot til late Jan/early Feb. We haven't really recovered mentally from "Black Saturday".

Australia is a hot country, I know, I know. But it needs to wind its neck in, it is getting beserk. "

PM Glass Box 5:50pm on 21 Dec 2009 I remember in the early nineties the South East "Networker" trains failing because of "The Wrong Type of Snow". You'd think that whoever designed the Eurostars might have done some research. It's not as if it's out of living memory - though you sometimes wonder these days!
Tonight: The creator of the Upstairs Downstairs theme: Sandy Faris 5:46pm on 21 Dec 2009 Perhaps it's time for the theme from Nationwide to have a revival? :) Useful for radio because of the shortened 'sting' that could be used between programme sections too!
