Brett Favre set to struggle in Minnesota 2:34pm on 12 Sep 2009 As a Packers fan I'm glad to see Favre back in the NFL. The guy's a legend who loves the game and Minnesota will be a better team with him.

Having said that, I wouldn't trade Aaron Rodgers for any QB in the league this year. With a season under his belt this could be the year he establishes himself as one of the elite Quarter Backs in the NFL. If Favre had stayed with Green Bay it would only have stifled Rodger's development and I think Favre leaving the team when he did was a blessing in disguise.
End of election night? 4:31pm on 07 Sep 2009 No, I actually enjoy election night. Couldn't stay up last time as I had an exam the following morning so have never seen one to it's conclusion. I enjoyed the American election last year so would hope that our election would be concluded on the same night as the vote.
We've launched! 00:06am on 06 Sep 2009 I love the new look, it feels far more navigable than the old site. I also welcome the addition of the Five Live Blog, which is now being followed on my Google reader. Maybe a little more sports content would be nice but other than that I like the new, streamlined look.

Will the 5live sports extra website be incorporated into the new site or will it keep its own?
The continuing adventures of Andy Hessenthaler 12:24pm on 01 Dec 2008 Andy Hessenthaler, what a legend. The man loves football and is one of my favourite players of all time. I always find it such a shame that it never worked out for him at Gillingham and would love to see him back at Priestfield
I'm going to miss the Swiss 11:57am on 27 Jun 2008 I'm a student in the UK and I spent my teenage years in Switzerland, I am there now as it happens, and even as a Brit, I feel homesick for der Schweiz.

They apologise for a 3 minute delay on the trains, whereas in the UK that is classified as "on time". And it's ridiculously cheap compared to Britain.

A lot of non-Swiss complain about the "foreigners", which is highly amusing.

Aromat is delicious.

Swiss German is the worst language ever invented.

Switzerland: Best country in the world!
