Scolari gives Chelsea Brazilian blend 11:51pm on 17 Aug 2008 Football of today is about money. not alone in England, everywhere*( Even in Africa professional football players gets more than president) Those giants RM Barcelona, Inter AC etc they are giants because they spend big money. We are ready to pay what is takes to buy ticket because we like to watch beautiful football played by best players, who has to be paid big.

Now if we don't want to involve money in our beloved football, let's create another league which is moneyless. I promise you nobody will be ready to buy a ticket for $ 5 to watch mediocre players.

By the way the topic is not about money, why we change the thing. DO NOT USE MONEY for your team failure because in one way or another you spend.

If chelsea should have given Grant more time that could be the worst decision.
Look it in this way, it took Scolari two months to change completely Chelsea style. Grant had nine months and couldn't do anything. I remember one pundit who used to write arguing that chelsea can play without manager and Grant was not good enough for Chelsea.

McNulty, I agree with you that it won't be as easy as it was with Portsmouth but Chelsea is going to the hardest team to beat this season.
Remember, they signed well-positions where they were short. They are better than previous season
