Why bankers aren't worth it 08:38am on 04 Jul 2009 I do wish people would not generalize about 'bankers'. Many ordinary people work for the banks and the vast majority of them do not get huge salaries. It is only the directors and the whiz-kid dealers and deal makers who get/got the huge payments.
West Brom: Three-quarters mutual 09:25am on 12 Jun 2009 One that could cause future concern is Kent Reliance, they have been until recently providing 100% liar loans in the massively overpriced Jersey housing market. People are now being made redundant, including in the main industry which is finance and few people have confidence in our Council of Monkeys (sorry Ministers). Still at least we do not have lord mandleson running the place.

Could we save billions by legalising drugs? 7:12pm on 12 Apr 2009 I think legalisation will have to happen, the drug industry world wide is a major problem with failed states and the people who run this illegal industry having so much money.

I think fewer people would use these substances if they were legal, it is the secret squirrel thing that helps attract people.

Why punish savers? 08:41am on 04 Dec 2008 Quite right. We have saved a bit of money, not a vast amount and rates on our savings are dropping all the time.

However the mortgage rates for people who have borrowed buy by Mercedes Jeeps, plastic surgery and five star holidays are dropping. Does not make much sense to me.
