Finding a climate for growth 5:52pm on 16 Oct 2008 Any coverage of the Canadian election ? ..... oh dear its finished ... i missed it .... cant miss the US one though ... what a pity, its OK though, when Newsnight runs a US election piece theres always Euronews.

They know their particular business is sound and buying in now whilst their own companies shares are cheap is a 'no brainer', so as to get through the coming slump obviously many of their workers will have to be sacrificed .... how satisfying!
All change at RBS 09:33am on 12 Oct 2008 how do we stop the bonus culture? If the government goes ahead with its Bank share purchase scheme surely 'we' can start dictating terms! Don't tell me , 'if we do that then we will lose all of the best talent abroad' ........hahahahahahahah... i don't think so. I wonder if all of these 'fast track' graduate entrants schemes nonsense has something to do with all of these problems, they don't know squat, in my experience. (Northern Rock found this out the hard way).

B&B to be nationalised 07:20am on 28 Sep 2008 So moving my financial life to Nationwide (a building society) and cashing in half my ISA last October makes me a fiscal genius? Why were people like you Robert not screaming from the roof tops 'it will all end in tears' when you read Northern Rock, et al, were delivering 125% mortgages and 8 times wages loans? I blame Kirsty also!
