but most worrying is the on going, head in the sand attitude of some fans who think the likes of cricket, rugby and football don't have a drugs problem. up until relatively recently baseball didn't have a drug problem. it didn't have a drug problem because the profits and returns were sufficient for everyone to cooperate in a corrupt system that ignored, condoned and in some cases helped athletes cheat.

Beautiful logo hits right note 12:48pm on 24 Jun 2008 first of all it has been "modern parlance" for a considerable time to refer to that particular flag as “Union Jack” regardless of where it is being exhibited (the navy certainly don’t care)- but hey-hoo what ever floats yer boat I say.

secondly the logo is not exhibited with the union flag/jack/whatever. it is a corruption of the union jack. not being particularly nationalistic or patriotic i don't care. but anyone planning on lining up behind it and chanting a national anthem might want to bare that in mind!

PS - i like th elogo and always have!
