Nostalgic reminder 12:38pm on 03 Dec 2008 I don't think Mandelson is in a position to lecture anyone on ethics. How does a man get back into high office having had to resign not once but twice for impropreity, and was a pass- master of using leaks when in opposition.

Oft-asked question 10:03am on 01 Dec 2008 Is there a conspiracy within the ranks of BBC journalists not to go for the political kill? Andrew Marr had Jackboot Smith on the ropes almost pleading to be put out of her misery and he did not press the bugging issue a bit further and then changed the subject. Unbelieveable - why you take their word that they did not know. If the Mayor of London and the Leader of the Opposition knew, it is no credible for the government to say they did not know. Who will rid us of this turbulent government?
Green's arrest draws parallels 1:05pm on 28 Nov 2008 Well done Nick, you missed the point entirely! This is an attack on our democracy. Gordon Brown was not arrested having been the beneficary of leaks while in opposition but Damian Green is - what sort of government do we now have. What price a cancelled election as it is not in the public interest?

It only took 11 1/2 years for Labour to institute the Police state, once they had created the architecture.

Further VAT rise was considered 09:32am on 28 Nov 2008 You silence on Damian Green's arrest is astonishing - the biggest political story for years - the government arresting an opposition MP and you are silent? Or is it a case of Labour knowing you had the day off and bad news elsewhere and thought they could bury this bad news like Labour did infamously on the day of 9/11?
Labour to end top rate tax pledge 12:05pm on 24 Nov 2008 GB says 'We must act now' - so he proposes tax increases in 2 years time - genius!?!

Meanwhile millions will lose their jobs and the nations banks are being crippled by their desparation to pay off the Treasury investments at 12% interest, rather than lending to businesses.

As usual Labour leaves an almighty mess for the Tories to sort out.
PMQs row over Baby P 5:48pm on 12 Nov 2008 Not only did Brown and Labour mis-read the mood - I think you have too Nick. That was the most shameful PMQ's I have seen. I think you have become too cynical and are now such Brown/Labour fanboy. On Daily Politics show John Cruddas - a man who'se politics and beliefs I hold frankly contempt got it completely right that Cameron was perfectly entitled to raise the issue and was not playing party politics. All respect to him on that.

Here's the thing - the electorate is interested in policies but they are more concerned about judgement and character and Gordon Brown's lack of judgement and poisonous character showed through at PMQ.

Children and their problems are a touchy subject for both men - one reacted with real empathy and concern and one lost the plot. Gordon Brown is not fit to be Prime Minister and the sooner Haringey's social work department is purged the better.

Duelling gentlemen 00:06am on 24 Oct 2008 Question why did Osborne take Feldman with him? Answer maybe: NR invites GO to visit yacht for a drink some one mentioned to him ( NR? ) that a donation might be in the offing. Osborne being thorough - thinks - better take a professional fund raiser who knows exactly all the rules etc and a person to discuss with in case it gets technical etc. Discussion about donation ensues from 3rd party, GO & AF think about it and decide even if from Uk company owned by OD - might not look good - thank you but no thank you - thanks for inviting us ..... see you NR back at the house... PM staying on yacht gets involved and now spins it 3 months later.

Truely the BBC has become the Biased Broadcasting Cabal.

If the Tories change the BBC settlement, give some money to Channel 4 and others and demand huge cost savings and protection of the public of excessive price rises in the face of the legacy of Brown's incompetence induced economic meltdown, once elected you and Peston, the Today Programme and the vapid Radio 5 Live crew will be the cause. The Corfu story 3:48pm on 21 Oct 2008 The fact that the Rothschild letter has had apparently to be redrafted after consulting with the Times's lawyers is not mentioned.
