Fair Play to carragher for even considering the interview. As a utd fan it was sweet justice in a way as I feel the red card came a game too late....

Fergie tried to beat Barca by playing the right football? Did he? Or where MUFC just out classed by a far superior Barca side. Why would your great leader not play to his strengths? Poor attempt at an excuse. And as for MUFC strength being in defence, not from what I saw last season when Fernando Torres made Vidic look like a boy against a man

Please. Why are liverpool fans still judging the whole of last season on one game. yes torres played well that day but lets face it, he'd done nothing in his first 2 outings against vidic and rio. Vidic had one bad game last yr in the league and liverpool fans seem to be judging his whole season on 3 points. they are even worse than city fans these days.
Tevez a sound deal for Man City 12:37pm on 14 Jul 2009 what formation are city gonna play? have they realised their back 4 is tosh and are adopting a 1-1-8 formation?

There doesn't seem to be any structure to their squad. hardly any wingers, a massive group of central midfielders and 2 good strikers mixed with a bag of injury crocked rubbish.

they are still a way of a title challenge even with tevez and adebayor.

As for lauding over Barca. You sound like Graham Hunter on Sky. over hyping Barca defenders and Dani Alves who was drastically poor against chelsea twice. Pique who couldn't consistently. break into our team and when did had the turning circle of a JCB.

Maybe you lauding the Barca players that are missing is your own way of comfort if utd win tomorrow.

Anyway if we're as bad as you make out we are and Barca so darn wonderful we won't stand a chance will we.

Congrats on the 4-1 btw...better team won that day and the better team won over the 38 games.

fair enough mate. you make a good point. It would be nice to hear from the likes of players from Stockport or macclesfield on their lives as i feel more of us on here could relate to that.

It just amuses me that liverpool fans are using this as a cheap point scoring exercise against united as per usual. If it was Stevie G doing this then the liverpool fans would think it was the best thing since sliced bread.

I know rio aint the brightest, the bloke even stated that ryan giggs had "stepped up and taken the mantle piece" when appointed United captain. That in itself should have meant he was never allowed near the media again!

As for missing the drug test, yeah its bad, but he got a ban - which is much more than footballers get for kicking the daylights outta of people in bars and on the streets - which in my book is a worse crime!

I know carragher does a lot for liverpool as a city, i know liverpool season ticket holders who tell me this. But people like Scholes also do a lot of charity work for manchester but like to keep it quiet as is his way.

I just can't help feel that if this way someone like a fulham or west ham player doing it then the lfc fans wouldn't even commented.

maybe they could interview carra and listen to that famous scouse humour as he yet again speaks through his nose instead of his mouth! Or maybe mr cliche gerrard, possibly the most boring man ever to sit on a panel of football pundits! His face on monday night was a picture. Wouldn't have missed that for the world!!

He missed a drug test, so did a man city player, yet that was never brought up again...funny that. Lets get over it!
Who is your Football League Player of the Year? 9:53pm on 30 Mar 2009 can you only win player of the yr if you score goals now?? It would be strangly nice to see a keeper win player of the yr for a change!
Liverpool send out title message 12:25pm on 27 Oct 2008 Time for me to eat humble pie. I couldn't see anything but a Chelsea win on friday but have to say congrats to liverpool and well played. They deserved it.

Hopefully Chelsea's home record will cumble now....
