Today Nick Griffin was pelted with eggs by a bunch of morons. I am not a BNP supporter but we live in a democracy and nearly one million people voted for the BNP on Thursday. This is playing into the hands of the BNP and their share of the vote will now rise further. The political elite along with their politically correct friends have opened the door for a right wing backlash and we will all suffer for it. If David Cameron supports the Anti Fascist movement then politically he is a complete fool.
The prime minister is safe - for now 11:56pm on 08 Jun 2009 Forgive me but many people seem to have missed the point. We are supposed to live in a democracy. Labour lost in two elections on Thursday but today their leader refuses to bow out and his MPs are too cowardly to ask him to go. So I can only conclude that not only do we have MPs who abuse an expenses system but also a democratic system as well. How can these pathetic individuals moan about UKIP or the BNP? I do not want riots on the streets but perhaps Gordon Brown thinks that he is more important than the country he lives in. He has to go now.

Gilts shock 11:14am on 23 Apr 2009 Has anybody ever been to Cuba? Don't bother, just stay in the UK and it will come to you. It amazes me how so many people believe that the UK will join the Euro - please note the Euro will be dead as a currency within 2 years. I have been commenting about this recession for quite a while and have been saying all along that it is not like other recessions. There is no floor because the exposure to 'toxic' assets grows day by day - the nature of these deals requires regular interim payments. I pulled out of the securitisation market in 2002 when I realised that the lunatics had taken over the asylum - it was a no brainer, I am not a greedy person. If you sell a product based upon 20 years of cash flow and then that business goes broke then the cash flow stops and the product you bought is worth zero. As the banks began to run out of traditional businesses to securitize they turned their attentions to Credit Default Swaps and began cobbling together baskets of awful credit interspersed with a few decent mortgage deals to make the product look solid. People now say that it will all be okay - it is just another recession after all - but ladies and gents this is not a recession. It is a complete meltdown because we have over fished the sea of money and now the sea is empty. The government is completely responsible for this situation because if a man with only 2 O'levels (me)can predict a financial storm what the hell are they doing claiming the intellectual high ground?? Every cloud has a silver lining however. We are still alive! Get ready for huge cuts in public spending and do not be surprised to see the army on the streets any time soon. We have only just started to feel it. People will turn upon their neighbours, people will turn upon strangers, a wave of hatred will drown those in power. Lets also forget this nonsense about high earners moving abroad - nowhere is safe. Now perhaps people will get it? We are facing our very own great flood because we have been incredibly stupid, me included. I wish I believed in God right now, I wish I could make light of it as I have historically done, I wish it could be laughed off. That is how I feel. God help us all. David Kellermann RIP (tragic).
A cuckoo in the stock market? 11:24am on 08 Apr 2009 The recent rises in the stock markets will be checked by a fall over a year or so. I would think the FTSE will drop to about 3000 and the Dow to about 6000 by March 2010. Property prices will drop by 50% from their highest point (they should drop by 90% to reflect economic conditions but that won't happen). The important thing to do is to accept the situation we are in and plan for the future. The G20 soap opera was utterly pointless and does not help us at all. The hidden losses or should I say exposure of banks is enormous and well beyond the scope of government bail outs - that is the truth that nobody wishes to confront, especially those in positions of power, they share the largest denial. Robert, you are well connected so why not lead from the front and share with the public the truth as you know it? The time for unbiased reporting has come and gone. If I were to mention what I know I would not be believed. Let's all face it head on, accept it and start again. The model is dead .........long live the model!

Blubbing bankers 11:07am on 30 Jan 2009 We all need to focus on a new industrial revolution, this will be the way forward. I know it sounds unlikely at the moment but it is going to happen. We have exhausted the global model of chasing our tails from boom to bust. It is time to widen our horizons and focus on spreading ourselves beyond the earth. In times of war technology moves at an amazing pace and so it will in this recession. You will see the emergence of clean energy sources and these will create a new base for manufacturing. I am starting such a company myself to produce hydrogen generators that will revolutionise the way we think about fuel use. I will be one of many who will travel this road and the competition will fuel huge growth. Yes, I know it looks unlikely now but it is going to happen and we will all benefit - even those horrible banks! We are British and we will once again be at the forefront of industry - in spite of Gordon Brown!
