Notts County cannot stay out of the headlines 1:26pm on 13 Oct 2009 Why is anyone surprised about any of the 'comings and goings' when money is the sole reason for people wanting to be involved. I cant wait until all football clubs are bankrupt and we start again, kicking balls in the street after school just for the pleasure of it.

Just remember that 100% of the money any bank has belongs to the customers. Billions in bonuses are paid for my 'eye watering' high levels of interest on small business loans etc. Whilst the depositors get a fraction of a % in interest.

The mass exodus has already started (they put their bonuses in off shore accounts years ago to avoid tax) and the are just fleecing us for the final amounts before they disappear to ponzi island all inclusive resort)

But they borrow from the banks for major investments, growing the debt but still paying bonuses because they are only servicing the debt not reducing it.
What was HBOS doing? 12:14pm on 06 Aug 2009 Amazing. So having had SHED loads of Taxpayers cash to rescue them, their plan is to "reduce costs as a percentage of income by two percentage points every year" by dumping workers on the dole forcing the taxpayer to pay again through unemployment benefits whilst the 'board' will reward themselves with a large bonus for meeting the downsizing target.
I would love to have one hour face to face with one of these executives to see how they justify their actions.
Un-effing-believable.
Why are we (taxpayers/voters) allowing this pig trough-fest to to continue?

Anger Night! 10:21am on 27 Mar 2009 Yes I'm angry. but I'm also wary of teaming up with just anybody to protest. I wont be going to protest at G20 because of the nutters there who think violence is a justified response.

We have laws to deal with this. Lets use them.

But then again, no one ever told me that I would either. All financial institutions are so incestuously linked to the point that everyone suffers because of the promiscuous behaviour of another. Improving football for kids 12:09pm on 27 Feb 2009 The best thing to improve youth football would be to make it clear that the goal (sic) is to help players express themselves fully rather than help the parents in their plan to get rich off their kids talent.
