I don't think so, SF have presided over 40 years of nothing in West Belfast, what have we got, it is like Englewood, Chicago - we are just nothing people, and if we're nothin, the Prods are totally irrelevant

The PSNI can't be bothered to answer 999 calls in West Belfast, they are widely disliked, and SF don't know anything about policing, they have no context for it, they are a centrally group-thinked party, they are like FARC or ETA, or even the Stasi, SF are really like that.

They will cut people who spent years in the H-Blocks, if you don't think Big brother Number One is darn near perfect, you are a troublemaker

You can't have it both ways,

if people want to protest gay parades in San Diego or Riga, they can't be put in 'free speech cages' either.

Amnesty has diffreent standards for different people (as we are only too aware of in Belfast).

I mean, we are not even trying to get the fractured regionalism right (or left).

In deference to whatever, I think 'force' is a terrible word, for Ulster.

Of course, I'm dumb to the core about the Tory link-up, I am just looking from the fringe.

There was no trial for indecent assault. The time for that test was before the plea bargain,

which was accepted to avoid the indecent assault trial, which is what plea bargains are for.

And to be honest, witnesses will always be a problem with NASUWT related trials.

The schoolgirl didn't sign the plea agreement, and the indecent assault charge didn't go to trial.

"A pardon could hardly be used as evidence of malice to any greater extent than the written account of events signed by the two QCs and solicitor."

the plea agreement was used uniquely against one little schoolgirl and in breach of official (NEOST) guidelines.

A precedent is a thing with an open-end. for example, I can't see the govt. being too keen on exculpatory plea narratives being adopted too widely.

For example,

a plea bargain from murder to manslaughter

'Killer exonerated in murder trial"

or attempted murder to GBH.

"exonerated thug litigates Mark Devenport for would-be murderer BBC blog slur"

It's a real possibility, plea bargains were designed to avoid a trial, they were not intended as running indictments against the complaining victim

the NASUWT also have problems with teachers as witnesses, they are not that fond of inculpatory testimony ( from anybody) and it shows

And not banned from teaching, which is what we would expect from Britain. How did the BBC report it?

They apparently didn't report it

Now I remeber why I am so suspicious of the NASUWT.

That union has a problem with the concept of 'guilty' and with the idea of 'witnesses'

and it has been like that since the publicity stunt epidemics of the late 1990s.
