Are you an Office Evangelist? 1:52pm on 16 Mar 2009 I always watch the most obscure programmes and try to evangelise to my co-workers and friends, howvere, it doesn't always catch on, especially if the show itself vanishes into obscurity because of low ratings in America.

I've loved Dexter, Firefly, Being Human, The IT Crowd and other more obscure programmes for a long time, but the one that irritatres me at the moment is that I absolutely adore 'Pushing Daisies' but have just found out it's going to be axed at the end of the second series. It was a wonderful series and I highly recommend everyone watch it while they still can.

As for Firefly, it was a fantastic programme, but was wrapped up well with the 'Serenity' movie. It's another example of a great sci-fi/fantasy series that was well made with brilliant story lines but was doomed to an early death...
'I've never joined Facebook because...' 1:06pm on 04 Feb 2009 After about a year of refusing to join Facebook, I too joined the masses. However it wasn't all I had been promised.

Yes, I can keep in contact with my friends... but I can do that by texting, emailling, phoning or (Heaven forbid!) actually going and visiting them!

I have also had loads of people asking to be my friends from school or other places, but most of them have been ignored... I figure there was a reason I 'Lost contact' with these friends in the first place!

The few friends that I contact on facebook are purely for sharing photos of important occasions or playing online games. Other than that, my profile does not permit anyone outside my group of friends to look at my information.

Back to plastic? 1:16pm on 01 Sep 2008 For non-plastic yoghurt can I recommend a 'make your own' kit from Lakeland. They have several kits that you can use, ut I recommend the set that has lots of small glass jars that you can re-fill. The good thing about these kits it that you can choose your flavours and the sugar/fat content. The only thing I'd say about them is that you can't put them near freezers/fridges or washing machines. Anything that causes a vibration will not let the yoghurt set.

This blog has been fascinating and I've learned a lot from it. I just hope a lot more people can make these positive changes tot heir lifestyles.
