Big turnout in Totnes primary 10:06pm on 03 Aug 2009 Really pleased that the BBC are highlighting thid issue when it is being totally ignored by the rest of the mainsream press. Just goes to show that the BBC and the Conservatives are the best hope for democracy in this country.
GB stars come in from the cold 8:51pm on 08 Mar 2009 Just read Katharine's post and i do love it when 5live commentators/contributors who use whole programmes to make callers be controversial react when their views are challenged! However I think she was right to leave Chambers out of her original article, after all 5live have spent the last 10 days bringing him back into the fold and publicising his book (thanks for another couple of mentions on here!) Any time not mentioning Dwain has been spent on the cocaine using Rugby player being 'interrogated' by his mate! Just like John Humphreys - not!

I've lost count of the ammount of BBC reporters who have made that mistake.
Stanford parade raises serious concerns 11:33pm on 31 Oct 2008 Very pleased with the anti Sandford, ECB, England and the whole damned idea that the BBC and Aggers have taken on this issue.
Even more delighted to hear tonight that the BBC has decided not to broadcast the game tomorrow and that Aggers and Arlo and everyone else are coming home with immediate effect. Anything else and people may have thought you were all being hypocritical whilst enjoying the jolly, well done Aggers and the BBC!!!!

Three gold medals - and I'm shattered 10:36pm on 20 Aug 2008 Just got too agree with everyone elses support on here really, I thought you were awesome and the rest of the team as well. I'll be there for the next couple of meets in Manchester and could go on with the praise but will stop now and give you a word of warning. Make the most of your achievements because the British press will turn - it's what they are good at. Already 'bloggers' on here have started to have a poke. A 'journalist' called james Munro found the British cycling success 'embarrassing' and Mihir Bohse unsurprisingly has also started to have a dig. Ignore these people you did marvellously and the majority of the Nation is very proud of you! Read this quickly as the 'site police' will soon remove it!.

Britain's cycling success - is it cricket? 7:56pm on 18 Aug 2008 James I find your comments embarassing and not the success of the British cycling team. I go regularly to the velodrome with my 16 year old daughter I'm fat and 50 and she slaughters me every time but the fact that we can do this as well as it being the centre for the British excellence is evidence to me that the lottery money is being well spent. If you think the GB cyclists are being pampered think again. About 10 weeks ago (in an Olympic year) we turned up for our 12 o'clock public session on a Sunday and Wiggins and other team members had been practising. At 11:59 and 59 secs the coach shouted 'right Brad off now' and we and 13 other members of the public took their place on the track. Awesome !!
I doubt you really believe what you have just written you're just a journalist therefore have to knock something to justify your position but i do think your comments here are really poor.
By the way if the Aussies really think cycling is a sitting down sport that probably explains why we have stuffed them at these games.
