Button deserves credit for rearguard fight 5:06pm on 27 Sep 2009 I don't know why lostin50 thinks this is a contraversional championship if Button wins it. If anything, Button should be slightly further ahead if the China race points weren't cut in half.

Also, of course Button deserves credit to win the championship. Of course he will deserve it! So he's not romping to the title? Like.. if Button doesn't deserve it... then who does deserve it then? Only because Button has had a stuttering spell... its easy to forget that his rivals have also been stuttering... even more so... so then his rivals deserve the championship even less.

Also.. one other BIG point. Jenson has won 6 races... his closest rivals have won, at most, 2 races. That says it all if you want to know who deserves the title... as the article pointed out... although rather blatently as its last point.... just get to the point.

I have not bothered to read Robbo's article but i thought he was having a pop at Kaka's wages... as basketball players get atleast what kaka can get by putting a ball through a hoop and i dont see american journo's becoming uptight.

But the headline is misleading... to a similar vain when you see the virgin media broadband tv phone bundles with its great intro prices... the small print of how much after 6months... to when the contract ends 12months... by which time the hyke in further price is not even advertised because we are all dumb and they think we dont see that far ahead... they think.

Hoy the pick of GB's golden bunch 7:44pm on 16 Aug 2008 I have to say Hoy was unbelieveable today. After yesterday I was a bit worried about Hoy believe it or not! I thought in the team sprint, he got a bit left behind if i were to be overly critical. But he was unbeatable today. I think Wiggins also has to be mentioned in the same breath as Hoy and I'm sure he will be later on in the games.

In terms of the failures in Judo, I think it just shows that when it comes to fighting, the Olympic games just brings out the best in the raw talents. I haven't really seen any special british fighters out there, apart from Fallon who has special talent but got carried away with the occassion. This also includes Boxing. I would be very suprised if we win Gold as I havent seen the special talent. No one has come close to the talent shown by Amir Khan 4 years a go. Winning world championships and winning the Olympics are completely different when it comes to fighters.
