Liverpool have tried to win the league twice as many times in the last couple of decades and despite repeated failures are still considered contenders at the start of each season.

Hansen and a welcome dose of nostalgia 5:17pm on 29 Oct 2009 I'm sure in fifteen years Match of the Day will be full of Liverpools current golden generation.

The incomprehensible Carragher and his Spanish friends will provide wonderful insight. They can regale us with stories on how they couldn't quite win that elusive league title but talk about how next year they would definitely break their duck.

Perhaps MOTD would change it's name to "Five Times" in honour of how many times these faded stars would mention Instanbul in an attempt to gloss over their many, many failures.

Still, better than watching Garth Crooks I suppose.

How much fan mail players get per day? Obviously this depends on number of factors, the club size, player reputation, success etc.

Do players like signing autographs, as some player’s don’t and are ignorant towards fans?

Have you got any treasured pieces of memorabilia you keep on show from your career, England cap maybe?
