The mapping mess - Google v OS 8:26pm on 19 Nov 2008 Comment 22 nails it for me. OS mapping is a national resource and we should treasure and nurture it. As a taxpayer I'd be happy to know that I was funding it.
The mapping mess - Google v OS 7:14pm on 17 Nov 2008 I am somewhat surprised at the comment by 'johnpipe'. From my experience with GPS data the opposite is always true. Also please bear in mind that Google maps have nothing beyond roads. For anyone venturing off the beaten track the lack of any other features such as footpaths, bridleways etc, makes Google maps all but useless.
Chambers controversy could help athletics 10:48pm on 15 Jul 2008 "Buzz????" You clearly haven't been there in years gone by when the 3 stands and all of the grass banks were packed out.
I'm at a loss to understand all these comments that Chambers, "has served his punishment". His punishment was a life ban from the Olympics.
