Benitez's brinkmanship strikes again 3:22pm on 26 Oct 2009 Ferguson's sore-loser routine is a disgrace to the sport. You and other journalists like to make fun of Wenger's "don't see" remarks but that's because he doesn't lie and slander.
Winners and boozers 1:21pm on 28 Sep 2009 Blaming Wenger for "missing" his team's fouls is so yesteryear, esp. after he's admitted he does it to deflect blame on his players. A manager has two choices, take it upon himself or lie for the player, like Fergie's done for Rooney & Co. I'd rather take a non-admittal to outright lies any day. But the British media will always harp on Wenger, because he'll never been seen as "one of them".

If the team's morale suffers or he's chased out by unappreciative fans, they could well have to deal with what fans of clubs like Charlton have suffered. Not every club can get Arsene Wenger as manager, and those who don't and have few resources have to be realistic about what they can achieve.

Also, the Eduardo ban will warn other players, while other clubs wouldn't be deterred by Chelsea's ban. I see so clearly now.
All divers should be punished 5:57pm on 04 Sep 2009 Eduardo's kept his mouth shut while Rooney's been lying about it. But the Englishman will always be supported by the media while the Croatian will get banned for two games. How is that going to deter anyone not playing for Arsenal?

Are we going to give 12-game bans to players who refs did not eject from the game? Because diving is a yellow-card offense and Eduardo got the equivalent of two red cards. So a three-game ban should automatically translate into quadrupled.

His lagging leg was already on the ground by the time Almunia got to him. No one falls like that if they're tripped. It should be the second link in the google results, from the Gooner Talk website.

USA is far from a utopia for female sports, but it's probably more developed here than most other places. What started it all was the Civil Rights Act, which required schools to provide equal funding for boys and girls sports. There was, and continues, to be a backlash from men who feels shortchanged, but the main effect has been a legitimization of women playing sports. It can been seen on the non-professional level where many if not most leagues are co-ed; recreational leagues in particularly often have minimum requirements for women on the field.
