Waking up to Ashes lag 05:42am on 13 Jul 2009 Interesting to read all the accusations of unsporting behavior flying England's way. The Aussie's shouldn't even pretend to think that they wouldn't have done the same thing in our position. And besides, these tactics maybe saved us about 5 minutes. England lasted 40 minutes with Monty and Jimmy at the crease, and maybe Australia should be asking themselves how they couldn't get either of these two out in 40 minutes?

Must agree with Witchbox above, Stuart MacGill is the latest in a long stream of dreadful pundits. I can't stand the man with his cheesy grin and wayward eyebrows. Thank heavens for Bumble.

Kaka didn't turn up at City and demand £500k p/w. He has been (reportedly) offered it. It's not his fault.

I agree whole-heartedly that this proposed transfer is ridiculous. £100m is an obscene amount of money. Yet Real were thinking of 100 odd for Ronaldo in the summer and it wasn't met with this much anger. Is it that it's a mediocre team involved, therefore it can't be right?

Remember the days of Chris Sutton's 3.5 mill move to Blackburn. I remember thinking that was obscene. And Alan Shearer's 15m. Also silly. Put it in context people, transfer fees and wages will continue to rise until some sort of salary cap is in place.

Don't go around criticising people who don't deserve it. Chelsea proved money can buy success. Why can't City have a go? If they succeed, good on them, if not, it will be another chapter in City's wonderfully colourful history.
Robinho deal caps day of drama 12:47pm on 02 Sep 2008 Wow! What a day to be a City Fan. I live in Australia, so missed out on all the deadline excitement. I went to bed on Monday night with the news of the takeover, just hoping that it would turn out ok for the club. The news I read when I woke up had me flabbergasted. I thought it might be some kind of joke. Of course, there's no one to talk to about it over here, wandering around work trying to get people interested had no effect: "Whats that Mate? Never heard of any Robin Ho?"

Whilst I am extremely excited about this season now, I can't help but wonder what the catch is. I mean it's City. There must be a catch? Surely? But then again, I remember when we were in Division 2, the only thing I could think of was that our luck would change. Perhaps it has.

Why Man City must ditch Ronaldinho plan 01:32am on 15 Jul 2008 Interesting article that I must agree with. As a City fan I am excited about the future of the club. But I feel that, at the moment, we would be better of without Ronaldinho. I read an article a few months back cataloging the declining attendance at Eastlands, and Shinawatra's desire to boost this with a "big name signing". This adds to my fear that a move for Ronaldinho is purely for financial reasons and not footballing reasons.

Lets save the £22 million and go hunting for some more appropriate players who the manager decides will be beneficial for the club.
