The problem with winner takes all 1:58pm on 18 Mar 2009 So if a Driver wins over 50% of the races he is automatically champion.

what if this happens half way through the season. The rest of the season is ruined, with the driver not needing to drive and further.

quick question,

will the dip in oil prices help the economy? the rise in fuel prices in the first place was one of the initial firestarters to this whole crisis, when people realised the had less money in their pockets.

Could this lead to a cheaper spell of living, especially in the lead up to christmas?

money can be lost.

take your house for example, you might have bought it for £150,00 5 years ago. last year it might have been worth £185,000 its now worth £150,000 or less. loss of £25,000 that never actually exisited. But which your bank allowed you to borrow against for security. welcome to negative equity :(
A change in the Weather 09:13am on 01 Oct 2008 I like the layout. But can it be split between Simple view and Advanced?

This way the people after a simple forecast can have just that, were as the people (like myself) that have an interest in the weather, can utilise the more detailed readings and forecasts.

But when you see Happy's Bull Dance youll agree Boo's impression was extremely good.

On another note - did anyone hear Boo's interview just after completing his round?
His answer to how much he ranked the Ryder cup against fishing and hunting?

To which Boo replied "well, dang, I dunno, there shaw aint nothin like shooting a deer..."

I was expecting to hear "we got da bandit" next.

I thought the lad was having a laugh, so - as to not get sucked into the horrible world of pub gulibility i ignored him and quickly changed the subject.

I take it though that he was infact speaking the truth. who wouldve thought it... eh?

to which spectators should turn to the person next to them whilst clapping and say

We are still cack.

We scored 2 goals against 10 men.

I will change my opinion once we have back to back wins similar to Wednesdays game.

Lets not foget we played nervously on Saturday against Andorra. ho, lets face it are ameteur. and we only scored 2 goals.... the first going in at 42 minutes!!!

Bring on Ukraine for the next test.
Time for Capello to deliver 4:30pm on 04 Sep 2008 I cant help but think that England just arent 'all that' any more, and infact a team of Nicky Butts, who seemed world class when playing in amongst the quality of Unt, but then didnt quite match the form else were.

Our england players just cant cut it when they aren't surrounded by other international quality.

Robinho deal caps day of drama 12:45pm on 02 Sep 2008 It will interesting to see if we read this blog in 3 years time, when Man City will be hated (more so than usual?) on a scale mirroring Chelskea.

Is this a good thing? More money in the premier league - another club that and will match stupid valuations to catch the star player - that, lets face it has only had one good season and is usually only worth a 3rd of the value paid.

This scares me, as these new money clubs only serve to test managers and players. regurgitating anything that isnt impeccible. This inevitably ruins careers of managers and footballers...SWP a classic example.

Trophys are no longer seen as an award , but a life line for a few more months in the job.

This is not how I want football to be.
