Roll on the footy! 3:14pm on 27 Jul 2009 Totally agree with the F1 comments - driving skill, whilst important, is completely overwhelmed by technical superiority. It comes down to whether it should be a test of driving skill or mechanical skill. It used to be a balance, now it's most definitely the latter! Standardising the cars is the only way to get back to the former, but a) would the teams ever agree, and b) is that what we want? To completely remove the technical aspect is also bad. how about: All teams start with the same car at the beginning of the season, and can make whatever modifications they want to it?
BT and the iPlayer 2:30pm on 11 Jun 2009 All the broadband companies are up to this. They-re oversubscribing an under-capacity network to make money. Ofcom refuses to do anything about this, so each company is pushing it a little further until everyones performance is degraded. ANY company selling an "unlimited" connection should be fined for any attempt at traffic shaping. If you havnt got the bandwidth, DON'T SELL IT.

What the [expletive deleted to prevent moderation ;)]?! This, to my mind, is the big problem with the media industry at large at the moment: They treat their customers like criminals. If I legally buy the CD, then rip it to my MP3 player, then I'm either breaking the law or paying (what amounts to ) a fine for the privilege. Whereas if I download the music, I'm breaking the law. If they're going to treat you as a criminal either way, where's the incentive to give them money?

Glory hunting is not for me 10:47am on 01 May 2009 Crewe Alex fan here, feel my pain :) Why you've got a comparatively easy job. After all, you just need to beat the bottom club in your league, and hope one other result goes your way. We have to beat the top club in our league, and have TWO other results go our way!

Ironically, we will also drop into the division I think of as the third division, showing presumably the different points at which we started following football. Good luck anyway, my mates a canary, hope you survive (But not too much. You did steal Dean Ashton of us after all!)!
