Sorry Phil but this statement is pure nonsense.

If Barry in last year of his contract is worth 12M or DeJong with 5 months is worth 14-15M then certainly by this measure Lescott should be worth at least 40M.

Lescott was worth more than 22M. He still had 4.5 year with 40+k/week, but lets just assume 40K, so it is 10M in salary alone. So real value for Lescott is exactly the same as Barry. ~12M.
What do you think of the fixtures list? 5:00pm on 17 Jun 2009 Honesty I'm sick and tired of watching Everton playing all top team in space of 3(4) games. Nov 21st Man Utd, Nov 28th Liverpool, then small break for Spurs and next week after that on 12.12.2009 Chelsea. And it is even worst in February: 6th Liverpool, 10th Chelsea, 20th Man Utd. Just like last season.

It is done on purpose. It is not conspiracy theory. 2nd season in a row we have Top 3 teams in 3 games. Give me a break!

With so many long-term injuries in the team I'm depressed already.

Quartet face relegation nail-biter 7:36pm on 22 May 2009 All 4 teams still involved in the relegation scrap should be gald that only 3 teams going down from the EPL. Sad truth is that all 4 should go down. If there is one club in the bottom 5 which deserve to stay up it is WBA. Unfortunately they are already doomed...
