Haye does what he has to do 12:36pm on 08 Nov 2009 So can we agree that boxing's final throw of the dice to try and compete in an MMA heavy market, has failed. Valuev is a freak show with all due respect, a large number of people were only interested in this fight cause it was haye fighting "that 7 foot russian guy". The fight was dissapointing, and i dought people will be coming back for more. A split decision title change surely means instant re-match, but who wants to see it?

Barry gets England talking 4:22pm on 03 Jun 2009 Gareth Barry was at Villa 12 years and has never played in a major international tornament, or a champions league game, why should he think thats going to change in the next 12 months? If he went to Liverpool or Arsenal he wouldnt be guarenteed to play every game, and that will put his place on the plane to SA at risk. He's gone to City cause he knows he'll play every week, and that the top class players are looking ro bring in can make him look at better player than Villa's could, where he was the talisman making them all look good. I for one am delighted City didnt make the Europa league, i didnt like being in it last year, and think its needless extra games that hurt you in the long run, if its not Champions league its not worth the extra hassle, maybe Barry agree's. I'm not saying he's not happy with his new pay packet, but alot of players move to clubs who pay them more than there old one did, thats not always the ONLY reason they leave.

Nigel McGuinness has been a world champion for a year? it is SPORTS-Entertainment, and you can hardly say there no athletes in it. Maybe next year, proberly never, im just saying.
Beckham gambling in Milan 00:52am on 25 Oct 2008 isnt it alittle funny that every club Beckham has played for since leaving United are Adidas branded? Not saying he didnt want to go to MLS, but maybe the fact that every club has there kit made by Adidas had something to do with it. And im sure Beckham has had plently of clubs willing to have him on loan for a few months, is it a shock its another Adidas one he's going too? Just wonder how much comercial stuff is behind all this, good luck to him though.
