Parry loses power battle 10:01pm on 27 Feb 2009 the truth is this has been coming for parry. He has been pedestrian at best. A symbol of mediocrity that stains our club for nearly two decades ( yes I know he wasn't here in 1991). The Moores hired him to bring business excellence to the club but I'm yet to see it. He is a classic case for fans never taking positions of power at their club . Thanks Rick but where Liverpool are going you wouldn't fit in.
Liverpool top, but for how long? 11:24am on 03 Dec 2008 This blog is hilarious. Now United fans think they've played all the tough fixtures and it's going to be 3 points all the way til May. You've got to laugh sometimes.
The criticism Rafa gets is as always unfair. His sparing use of Babel will be for two reasons. Firstly, he's no centreforward, no matter what he thinks. Watch the olympics games. Secondly, he's more useful to Liverpool as a sub at this moment in time. He will get his chance and he will be fresh and fit.
Liverpool top, but for how long? 10:59am on 02 Dec 2008 Being top of the league this morning means nothing. It's a bad result but we're not the only ones having difficulties otherwise we wouldn't be top clearly. This is just the type of panic that crashes stock markets.
What's wrong with Argentina? 11:53am on 08 Sep 2008 I'm afraid you've nailed it there Tim. The lack of athleticism at the back is Argentina's Achille's heel. Heinze should not appear for the Albiceleste again. He typifies the problem. Another player who's beginning to look a bit lost to me is Cambiasso. Up front should take care of itself with or without a target man. In full flow they can rip any defence apart. The problem is they have no faith in their back line which errodes everyone's confidence when going forward.

Enigma

"1. a puzzling or inexplicable occurrence or situation."

Not meaning to be defensive here but what I meant was I don't understand what's still puzzling or inexplicable about Liverpool's performances in the Group stages (or indeed against Liege). Liverpool always start at half pace. I still cannot believe we left Porto last year with a point. They battered us. Same again I expect this year. BlueBurns, I guess what I was trying to say is we've become consistently inconsistent.
Premier League quartet will advance 2:53pm on 29 Aug 2008 Phil, why are Liverpool in Europe still an enigma to you? Liverpool have immense confidence and experience in this competition. The results in the last 4 seasons speak for themselves.
