only read your post now and I am not a Man City fan but truly like the quality football Arsenal can deliver. Unfortunately Ade will be punished for what looked like a stamp and he only has himself to blame for that.

As for RvP he has always been petulant, never understand how Wenger copes with him :o)

everything was top class for me and will certainly go down as the best World Championships for me.

My only one disappointment was the way Caster Semenya was handled and how disgraceful people behaved regarding the whole situation.
Semenya left stranded by storm 4:21pm on 21 Aug 2009 @302 .. it must be noted that Semenya comes from a poor family background and did not have the pampered surroundings that Western athletes demand and expect as their right. Last year she participated in the World Junior Champs as a raw talent and ran 2:11.

Two months later she went on to win the Commonwealth Youth Games with a time of 2:04 in October 2008. She was 17 years old

In 2009, and now with the backup of Pretoria University she improved to 2:00 before running 1:56 in the Africa Junior Champs.

After all what she has been subjected to and to still go out and win, shows a strength of character of amazing proportions
