Labour bets on bashing bankers 11:04am on 28 Sep 2009 What about those of us who work for banks, but have no say into any financial decisions as we're too busy trying to keep the technical infrastructure working and adding in changes to systems based on regulations?

It seems to be a case that if you work for a bank, YOU are responsible for the fall of Western civilisation, but all I want at the end of the year is a recognition of all the hard work I put into this place.

Don't tar us all with the same brush.

Oddly enough, I typed in Red Bricks Lego Batman and the first link was gamefaqs.com, which gave a complete walkthrough, including red bricks.

I've noticed this before with Google - sometimes, two people in the UK typing in the same search get different results.

I wonder if it's tailored per region as well as domain area?

Phorm - one year on 12:48pm on 04 Mar 2009 Let's see - recently on my BT Yahoo homepage, I started to get adverts which had only ever appeared on ONE other webpage that I visit.

I had never agreed to any Phorm style tracking system. I had never been asked if I agreed to it. And yet, adverts that I only ever saw on one website were now popping up elsewhere. I found this curious and checked for Webwise cookies. Lo and behold, I found them on my PC.

End result, one happy, new Sky Broadband customer who has a faster linespeed than BT said was possible.

That's the results of Phorm with BT and they had better make note of it!

It's just another login to do things I am perfectly capable of doing myself. If others are happy with it then that's fine.

Sony's Little Big trump card? 12:33pm on 14 Oct 2008 With regards to the comment about Bioshock getting ported from the 360 to the PS3.

Given that it (and many other similar games) have been ported from the PC in the first place, this comment is a bit rich!

But then that's the problem. When the console fans argue over what's the best (I've got a PS3 myself, but it was the Blu-Ray drive, rather than the games which attracted me to it), they forget about the truly innovative platform - the PC.

First Person Shooters, Real Time Strategy, Massively Multiplayers, Online Shooters all started on the PC and, in my opinion, still haven't been topped by anything ANY console does (that being said, I think consoles are great at 3rd person action games and will continue to purchase those games on the consoles).
