No wonder Jenkins was out to kill in the second half. Kaplan penalised him just about every time the front rows went down in the first half - once on the first collapse from the opposite side of the scrum without even coming round to take a look - despite the suspicious absence of shirt on du Plessis' back in every scrum. Second half, Kaplan decided he would watch du Plessis, and gave, I think, four free kicks (not penalties, note) in a row against him. Mate, that's what the card is for....

I'm going to miss the Swiss 11:33am on 27 Jun 2008 The trains especially. They run on time, are generally clean, modern and comfortable, have a unified and logical ticketing policy (return price = 2 x single, etc), and coordinate to the extent that the last local trains of an evening will wait for delayed inter-city connections, or for big shows to finish. There are even extra local trains/trams/buses laid on, often free of charge, following festivals or big events. A public transport service that is run as a service to the public. There's a novelty....
Fans give me food for thought 10:45am on 13 Jun 2008 Quickquip, you've missed the point. He meant that, in an English 'home' fanzone, there wouldn't be enough opposition supporters to make a big noise when England gave away a penalty. Or that the oppo fans wouldn't dare make a noise, which is sad.
