today when i heard the news i was delighted.well done her majesty.
the turnips who continue to be critical of everything faldo does are showing their bitter colours.
faldo deserves this more than any celeb/sportsman since psaul mccartney in 1997.at last true talent and world greatness are rewarded..!

cricket on any level does not compare in financial terms to footballs richest league.if setanta sports had rights to the whole indian premier league nonesense for'free' it would'nt make a blind bit of diferance to their plight!

take a good look at your article which as usual is very well written,however look at all the golfers you have named in your blog.
SANDY lyle,JOSE MARIE olazabal,IAN woosnam,SERGIO garcia.
the list goes on.with one notable exception,in your world he goes by the name 'faldo'.i do believe his first name is 'nick',its a shame that you do not feel the need to mention him by his first name unlike every golfer in this article when first mentioned.
its also a shame that even in an article regarding the ryder cup where you have not criticised mr faldo at all for a change you have inadvertently showed us why britains greatest ever spotsman dosnt have a chance with you media boys

of course westwood was just spouting sour grapes.weekly was a sensation all week and i saw NOTHING wrong with his actions.
faldo likewise was the captain and he must be judged by his team performance ,which was not that bad but was defo second best to the inspired yanks.
how faldo was ment to 'create a winning mentality'in your words is beyond me.your either good enough or you are not.!
infact inspite of some very clever decisions by faldo his team were never going to be good enough to win this time.the americans were as good as any ryder cup team i can ever remember,the knocked out pins and holed everthing.!
stop making scapegoats and show some humility by congradulating the superb US team!

get a grip of yourself,is this the best you can do to pick fault with faldo.if faldo had followed his instincts more perhaps he would have dropped westwood and garcia a bit more .they were dropped because the were playing below their standards.dropping them on saturday morning resulted in EUROPES ONLY SESSION WIN.
even you, surely cannot fail to realise the two have to be linked.

winning second division titles in scandinavia will be of no use to you when the heat is on in the ryder cup.its world rankings and major performances that should count,and thank god nick faldo is picking the team and not most of the 'fluff' posters on here!
