Relief all round as Silverstone secures British GP 5:28pm on 07 Dec 2009 Quexlia: I think its very easy for people to say that the circuit produces a dull race but what circuit consistently produces a good one these days? History shows us that with cars able to follow each other closely and therefore overtake, Silverstone was one of the better spectacles. Drivers always comment on how good a circuit it is to drive and it provides a good test of a cars performance.

My Good Self: I know my opinion doesnt represent what others may experience but I have been to Silverstone on three occasions and wouldnt describe the facilities as 'horrendous' or 'embarrassing.' I camped for three nights and went to all three days last year and felt that the facilities provided a comfortable weekend. My parents stayed in a local hotel and therefore had to travel to and from the circuit by car each day. They were able to do this with relative ease each time. The first thing I would change would be to put covers on more stands as that is the only thing that immediately stands out as making life more uncomfortable than it needs to be.
Could Ferrari's Finn make a shock return to McLaren? 7:19pm on 23 Aug 2009 It is something i thought about to but i think McLaren will go for Rosberg because he is a) cheaper and b) a more long term option.

I for one would love to see Kimi back in McLaren and actually think had he stayed then he would have been F1 champion in 07 and 08. Clearly lost motivation at Ferarri and no internal competition is hardly going to push him for the end of the season.

Think he'll go to Brawn, Rosberg to McLaren, Kubica to renault and Barrichello to a new team. Sutil and Hunckelberg to Williams.
My Monaco Grand Prix predictions 8:13pm on 22 May 2009 I agree MatManF1, i think if a KERS car will win especially if it qualifies top 3 then there is a good chance it will win if it can get off the line well, lead into the first corner and defend for the rest of the race. Think Hamilton is most likely and Button may be a little apprehensive about Lewis sticking one up the inside on the first corner and may play the percentage game.
French art and aggression too much for wobbling Wales 4:01pm on 28 Feb 2009 Too many individual errors cost Wales the win but all credit to France, the best team on the night won.

Both Roberts and Powell I thought looked out of their depth and short of ideas, why did it take so long to bring on Henson?

The forwards werent their usual commanding selves whereas the french pack looked almighty.

Its anyones guess as to who will win this year especially if England pull off a win in Ireland...

Madejski right to hit out at wages 10:04am on 20 Aug 2008 Its simple Supply and Demand and wages are merely a result of this. If clubs are willing to offer these wages and fans/sponsers are willing to fund the clubs then whats to stop it all.

The fallout is clearly the fact that bar a 'freak' season, only one of three clubs will win the premiership.

American sports have the right idea with 'the draft' where the poor performing clubs get first pick of college players. There is a problem in that we dont have a 'college system' like theirs.
