Those asking about the Xbox 360, as others has said it is upto Microsoft to include a web browser with the adequate Flash support. But they will not do this because the Xbox 360 would be easily hacked, and viruses created due to it's archetecture. Microsoft are only looking after you at the end of the day.

If they would listen to me, I would tell Microsoft to use the Cell Processor in the next console to minimise this common issue with browsers. So far though, the PS3 has been hacker and virus proof. Mainly because nobody but their partners know how to code for PS3.

Look forward to BBC HD content if possible and like some others have said, a download option would be awesome as the PS3 has background downloading meaning we can continue surfing the net as the programs come down, helps those with slow internet connections who love your service.

And more desirable, although understandle if it doesn't arrive soon or ever, is an iPlayer application instead of a link? Hope you and Sony can discuss this... I am sure they would be happy to see this come through!

Read the manual? Never! 09:33am on 21 Aug 2009 This is a throwaway society.... find me a mobile phone for instance that is not designed to fail? They are designed to break down so you have to buy a new one. Manuals are useless for these devices.

Look at wahing machines and televisions, back in the 1960's TVs would last 20 years and now with superior technology they will not last that long. A manual for your TV will not tell you how to repair shoddy build quality.

You hit the nail directly on the head. A $3M Cruise Missle is far more important to the Developed nations than a world saving technology.

How the politicians and Public can think ITER is not worth huge investment amazes me, the fact is we do not know if it possible but this is definately worth the expense to find out.

And it is not a case of starving other research projects for this, it is a case of starving mundane policies of money in place of more research! That is how it should be done and I can say that the UK alone can contribute another £300M annually simply by telling the Arts Society they will have no more Tax Money to compensate for the worlds lack of monetary interest in the rubbish they make these days.

I don't care how important some people think art is to society, it will never power my lightbulbs and there is no discussion about it!!

The amazing Virgin service you speak of reuses to give me any sort of fibre connection, in fact the majority of the large village I live cannot Virgin fibre because the company refuses, always has refused and always will refuse, to lay down an opitical fibre line.

As long as Virgin are main providers of fibre this country is going nowhere, which is what we all know. And as for BT, they wanted to go fibre when it was affordbale and cheaper to roll out all the way back in the 1980's where the cost was far less than the £27Billion stated for today. However, the Conservative Party were the ones that said no!

So before going on to have a go and BT, check out the history. This issue could have been prevented and it wasn't, and not suprisingly at the end of the day none of this would be discussed today if the Tories had simply done their job when they were in office!
Success of Sky was never a model for Setanta 1:43pm on 10 Jun 2009 The flaw was not so much with Setanta but the Premier League's refusal to allow a level playing field. I have never been a fan of this "for profit only" packaging, where only the richest TV Company can buy the matches that allow a TV Broadcaster to make some profit.

Setanta would have been a success if Sky did not have a monopoly on all the major Premier League games, for instance if Sky and Setanta had equal share of the Man Utd - Arsena, Chelsea - Liverpool games the level of competition between the Pay TV Services would make life much easier for the viewers, however the Premier League is not interested in that.

No he didn't imply anything like that at all. Infact it was YOU who said that in your own post!

What he said was, the British Media are vilest which is 100% correct. The other nations look at our media and think of it as the scourge of reporting.

It doesn't matter how good someone is at something, the British Media is the only media in the world collectively trying to bring them down to their own diseased level.

the British Media are the worst in the whole world and the BBC as much I still watch it, is no better. Unfortunately we don't have any good, unbiased reporters in this country, the reporters here are only interested in one thing... controversey. Success is just a little side earner for them to report on.

For instance, which of these had more headlines, column inches and minutes on national TV news.... Rooney scoring England's winning goal or Rooney's so called Pot Noodle thing.

This is what he was implying, and this is where he is 100% correct. Even the BBC gave the England striker a hard time when he was supposed to be treated like a National Hero as is done in all the other nations.

The UK is different in this sense, we are not happy unless we someone else failing! At least that is what the edittor and reporters here think anyway. Did you the CNN Channel on Freeview covers more British news topics than the BBC and Sky News... that sums it up all the way! CNN will report on everything they can, good and bad. BBC and Sky regurgutate the same controversial/sensational rubbish all through that given day!
